You could save them and work through the pre-19 tests instead. They may be different (esp in lg) but not enough to render them useless

At the end of the day, a significantly higher score opens doors. So while it’s not ideal, many schools will def give you reconsideration.

But last cycle was so unpredictable…

Br vs drilling

If you finished core curriculum and are currently working through the pt’s with blind review, at what point can you just interrupt that process with drilling on specific weak areas?

Lg is still my weakest, and so after already doing the foolproof method on all the lg core curriculum, I was thinking I’d look through and try to do most of the types of games I’m weakest at based on the keyword 7sage groups them in. As long as I leave fresh full time pt’s to test and br with, that’s an ok approach right? I just worry because it diverges from the lesson plan. But lg is supposed to be the easiest to improve and so I feel I would get more of a return on investment putting most of my energy into that at this point

I would personally go over the games that you've already done, preferably starting with the ones you took longest ago. Because the answers, and to a certain extent the games, are fairly mundane and repetitive, they should feel fairly new. Then go over the LG explanations for those tests and see how close your diagrams were and whether you nailed your inferences.

Hope this helps a bit

This definitely makes sense and it’s actually what I did the last time I studied for the test. I reviewed all the LG i had with over dozens of tests. While I saw improvement, it was still my weakest section and around -6 on average.

That’s why I figured I must be missing something with the basics and wanted to follow through with the cc. But I know that’s not ideal...sigh. I’m just afraid of doing the same thing and expecting diff results

I am in a very similar situation, and I am just scrambling. Be good to yourself, test day can be unpredictable. Good luck

You have a while to decide if you want to change the test date to November if you feel you aren’t ready for October. It’ll be a $200 charge, however

Please help me find similar games

I took the lsat a few months ago and was stumped by what should’ve been an easy game. I know I spotted a similar type when I studied it last year, but I can’t find it for the life of me rn even though I’ve scoured 90 games.

It’s a variation on a one layer sequencing game with variable blocks.

So imagine rule 1 is sth like A is either immediately in front of B or C bnb. Which is pretty simple and straightforward. But then the rest of the rules are basically a similar series of 2-3 other “either or, bnb” variable blocks, which is where it can get confusing. I just know I got super confused and stumped navigating this and would like to find the similar game I recalled so I can familiarize myself with the format.

I always find it tough to intuitively decide whether to do a general map and let it be question driven vs solve for all gameboards. often when I get confused by a question I freak out and then end up trying to solve for all gameboards late into the game, eating up time. Can anyone point me to similar games?
