i spent so long on this question. I could've answered it just looking at the answer choices. A-C are not related to logic and are clear throwaways. Leaving only D and E.

And E does not make sense because she won't quit or take a leave of absence unless she is offered a fellow ship according to the stimulus. If this is the case, then how could it be, as E suggests, that she will only be offered the job if she quits. I feel like the timing of this conflicts with the timing suggested in the passage. Although, I guess technically eliminating this solely off of timing is wrong because you can read it a certain way so that it works, and you shouldn't use common sense on LR lol

Oh wow, I did not think this was a glitch. But coming back to this video (the question 3 one that I mentioned above), all of a sudden the buttons are there. So maybe it is a glitch. It happens so often I just thought that some of the videos were embedded in the site differently.

to combat this issue, i go back to a different lesson, then press next to reload it. There are probably other methods that work. Usually reloading it in some capacity works for me

No, this completely makes sense. You are givings words to something I do but have not articulated. You also added a few things that I had not thought about it. Thanks for posting! I'll think about these tips!

Question:

I am confused on why D is correct if the stimulus says sex "more properly" refers to....

This does not imply that thinking sex and gender are interchangeable is improper or not proper, it merely states that it is more proper to think of them as not interchangeable.

The correct answer, D, states that sex and gender are "not properly interchangeable."

I think D is going too far because the stimulus never said it was not proper. Is D still the correct answer solely because the question stem asks for which answer choice "best" expresses the main point?
