Seriously, if even one other person would tell me they haven’t gotten their score either I would feel so relieved.

A user named Pacifico created a spreadsheet to track foolproofing for PT 1-35, and user Not Ralph Nader uploaded it to DropBox. You can download it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a9rdnxphn55ax0k/Logic Games Bundle Tracker.xlsx?dl=0

I use that tracker, but I've added columns for section time and section incorrect total. I like to foolproof an entire section at a time, and it really helps me to see whether I'm hitting under 35 minutes total and get a feel for average number missed per section.

I applied pretty late in this year's cycle - end of March for Vanderbilt and WUSTL, beginning of May for University of Georgia, and I was planning to apply for UT Knoxville a bit later. I was waiting to get my 170 on the LSAT, which I finally did in February, and then for letters of recommendation, personal statement, etc. Anyway, that's all my own fault I know. :)

I got waitlisted at WUSTL, which was a bummer but not devastating. Last night, though, I found out I was waitlisted at University of GA, which I was not expecting, given that my LSAT is 8 points above their median. It's made me worried that I just simply waited too long and there are no spots left for me.

I'm okay with waiting another year if I have to (I'm already in my early 30s, so I have a full-time job and won't be scrambling for something to fill that year), and the thought of trying the LSAT a bit more and maybe improving is really tempting. I'm just not sure what the rules are for the materials I submitted in my application. Do I need to re-write all my essays and get new letters of recommendation? Can I re-use anything? I'd love to re-use the essays since I bought 7Sage consulting for them, but not if it is a faux pas!

I know that you can save $100 when you buy an additional Admissions Unlimited x1, but do you have to buy them at the same time? I know I'd like to get one, but I'm not sure if I'd like to purchase a second. If I wait, will I lose the chance to get the $100 discount?

Thanks for all the feedback everybody! It turned out basically like I thought.

I'm having trouble finding recommenders, so I'm worried. I've been out of school years, and didn't have close relationships with any particular professor even when I was in school, so I don't know if I can find an academic reference. I have one reference from an employer who is really positive, but my only other professional job was bonkers crazy (my boss left, and then stopped speaking to me when I told her former boss the name of a coworker who had told my now-former boss what tasks I was working on - her former boss asked me point blank and angrily, so I felt cornered and told the truth. She then flipped out and yelled at my coworker, who is great friends with my now-former boss, so my now-former boss stopped speaking to me and would never give me a good recommendation. And that's not even the dumbest thing that happened there!).

Honestly, I hate getting recommendations. I feel like they really advantage extroverts who are able to invest time in chatting to professors after class, going to office hours, that kind of stuff, whereas I never had the same professor twice and just have no idea how to talk to professors when I don't have a reason. Soft skills, you know? Doesn't mean I wouldn't be a good lawyer, but does mean my professors don't really remember me.

Oh well, I'll figure something out! Thanks again for the feedback, it's really good to have other people confirm my gut feeling!

I'm currently both involved in a court case and attempting to apply to law school. My parents have told me to ask my attorney to write me a letter of recommendation, but I've said that I think this would be really weird. After all, I'm paying her, so why would the law school trust her objectivity?

BUT, when my attorney heard I'd taken the LSAT, she got REALLY excited and happy. She told me that the comments and feedback I've given on a certain document were "third-year associate level," and is thrilled that I'm planning to try for law school. So it would be really awesome if it wouldn't be weird to ask her for a recommendation, since she's both a well-respected attorney at one of the top law firms in our city, but genuinely gung-ho about my potential.

I'm 95% sure that everyone will tell me this is a terrible faux pas, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Yes, it's just the score - you don't even get to find out what the curve is. It sucks!

How many questions were on the real RC section?

I’ve brought all 12 of the pencils that came in the box to three LSATs with no trouble. I don’t think there’s a limit.

Did this happen again? A bunch of my logical reasoning lessons are gone now!

Date of Exam: December 2, 2017

Proctors: Proctors were great to me! My water bottle actually leaked on my ticket on the most important part, meaning my face was ripped out and in a separate, soggy piece. I definitely panicked a little bit, but the proctors accepted the ticket and then let me re-print after the exam so that a non-ripped ticket could go to the LSAC. However, they were inconsistent with the watches. I have one of those timer analog watches like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Toptiertimer-Custom-LSAT-Approved-Watch/dp/B00T6Y5TOS/ , and so did one other test taker. They noticed her watch and confiscated it, but didn't look at mine so I was able to use it during the test (didn't help me though - I forgot to check during the only section I regularly run out of time on and ended up not answering ANY of the questions for the last logic game!).

Facilities: Holland Hall Testing Center

What kind of room: Classroom

How many in the room: 25-30

Desks: Desks were long tables with the attached swivel chairs. We were seated with one seat between us, so there was plenty of room to spread out the booklet and answer sheet. Perfect for taking the LSAT!

Left-handed accommodation: Yes, since they're just chairs and tables.

Noise levels: Noise level was quiet. There were no disruptions during the test.

Parking: Parking was ample and free behind the building.

Time elapsed from arrival to test: I'm not really sure! The clock in the room was not working, so I'm not sure what time we started. I do know that we got out about 15 minutes before 2, so all in all it took more than 5 hours.

Irregularities or mishaps: None

Would you take the test here again: Yes, absolutely! I took the LSAT at Vanderbilt before and we had tiny tablet desks which were just a nightmare. I was really happy that TSU had actual tables so if I take again in February it will definitely be at TSU!

Proctors: There were a bunch of proctors - maybe four? Only one woman read the instructions, the others just helped with passing out and collecting papers. I didn't notice any noise from them, but the woman keeping time gave the 5-minute warning early on one section, which really threw me off. She corrected it by giving a second 5-minute warning at the correct time, but it really made me freak out a bit since I thought my watch wasn't working properly and I was going to be screwed up for the rest of the test.

Facilities: Facilities were fine. Bathrooms were close enough, there was a water fountain nearby, the room wasn't too hot (although it was a bit chilly, it was perfect for me).

What kind of room: Lecture hall with auditorium seating.

How many in the room: 50-100

Desks: Flip-up tablet desks!!!! Seriously, these were so horrible! There wasn't even enough room to have the test booklet spread open, much less the test book and the answer sheet side-by-side.

Left-handed accommodation: There were left-handed desks available, and the proctors asked if you needed one as you entered.

**Noise levels:**Very quiet.

Parking: Parking was across the street at the closest.

Time elapsed from arrival to test: About 30-45 minutes.

Irregularities or mishaps: As I mentioned above, the proctor gave the 5-minute warning early for one of the first sections.

Would you take the test here again? Absolutely not. The tablet desks were crazy uncomfortable and I was super cramped. I feel sure that lowered my score, which ended up being -7 from my PT average. I really don't understand why any location would think that tablet desks are an acceptable way to hold the test, they're so insufficient!
