If you look into the next lesson you will begin to get an idea of the support JY spoke of. Reading the passage with a mindset of identifying the argument, then looking quickly through the premise and conclusion carefully will help when identifying the answer.

I draw little doodles of the story while reading to keep myself interested in what is going on. Then when I read the answers I look to see which choice will knock down my doodle.

So, if choices support the doodle I keep going past them.. at least this method work for me in understanding how support comes into play.
