Does anybody know when the scores for the international June 2018 paper (Asia) will be out?

RC is my weakest, so I'm pretty stoked I finished a 5 star difficulty passage under time with -0. This truly is a very learnable test, thanks 7Sage! :)
I’d love to be of help!
Hello! I'm planning to give my LSAT in October (Asia) and am looking for a Skype study partner. I've gotten really good at LR with a consistent -0/-1, but I'm terrrible at RC (-5 to -7). If there's anyone out there who's really good at RC and needs help with LR, maybe we could help each other out?
Thank you @, @, @, @! I can't tell you how much reading your comments has lifted my spirits, I'm going to get back to studying hard knowing that my end is possible! For reigning in my anxiety, I'm meditating, exercising, and trying to come up with a test day routine I can replicate on the actual day (since I have to travel to another state to give my LSAT, it's a little sketchy).
@ I'm an international student so my GPA doesn't count. Moreover, I did not have the GPA system in my university; but I did pass with First Class Distinction which is equivalent to passing with magna cum laude, I think. And I have a solid resume, so I hope a good LSAT score can sail me through.
I'm so worried about missing deadlines. The last date for a lot of schools in my list is February 1st/2nd. :(
I got a few emails from schools saying they'd be back on January 2nd. I'd say you should expect to hear back after the break.
I'm an international LSAT taker from India; gave my first attempt in December 2017 with a 157, I'd been PT-ing in the high 160's but I also have severe anxiety and I walked out of that test not remembering anything so I knew I was going to bomb. My second attempt was in June 2018, my PT average was 175, scored a 165 on the actual test. This time I was much calmer and more collected, but had to rush to the bathroom twice during the test because I felt like I was going to throw up. I'm working on my anxiety and am confident I can do much much better next time. I plan to take the October test and score at least above 170.
I just wanted to know if giving it again is the wisest choice and if my goal score is too irrational?
It's my dream to attend Harvard Law, do you think it's worth giving another shot or have I already missed the train?
Thank you for reading, and apologies for such a longgg question. :)
That's horrible! Have you tried catching them on the phone? I think it's easier to dismiss someone via email than on a phone call.
LSAC is causing me major delays in my application too since they just asked for my verified degree certificate two days ago and my university takes a month to verify and seal documents. :(

What I used to do (I'm gonna go back to doing this) is going through the passages and doing the ones I like first then the ones I "don't" like last. I usually just skim through the 4 passages take a glimpse at the first line and determine the subject matter. It used to help me get through 1-2 maybe 3 passages fairly quickly because I was so interested in the content and it boosted my confidence. It put me in the right frame of mind for the last passage and even if it was hard, I gave myself more time to work on it knowing I nailed or did fairly well on the others. It's good to keep the order of the PTs randomized because if you try to restructure the PTs based on your preference you have to also realize that probably won't happen on the actual day.
I'm always worried this process will take up more time than I can afford. I can barely finish the passages in time as is. :/

I wouldn't mess with the order, the PTs are structured as they are by testmakers for a reason. Instead of changing around the order of the sections, have you considered adding a fifth "experimental" RC section from an older test and writing that like its the first section?
That's a good idea, actually. I'll do that then, makes more sense. Thank you!

Just a thought: if a preceding section gives you anxiety, the adrenaline may actually help with your later sections. If RC isn't first, the adrenaline could help with your RC performance.
Preparing for the worst case scenario here. You're right though!

Maybe you can try taking 5 or so deep breaths before starting the 1st section once you see that it's RC. If you're going to do RC sections 1st from now on hopefully you will get used to it and eventually may not need to do this anymore, but it may help to center yourself and not freak out (if you think that's why you're having the discrepancy). You should also try just drilling RC sections on their own for a few days, it's definitely helped me with pacing and may help you if you get really worried about timing or just need to get more used to doing RC
Yes, I really think I should start drilling RC sections. Perhaps my biggest hurdle is just how much I dislike them. :( Thank you!

That is a little odd! Do you feel like you dislike/get stressed by RC more than the other sections in general? I think taking RC first in your future PTs is definitely a good plan!
Both, I dislike it and therefore it causes me a lot of stress. Thank you! Tyring one tomorrow!
Thank you everyone! I hear ye, and I'm sticking to an essay :)
Thank you so much, after hearing out some other people too, I think I agree with you there. Thanks for your honest thoughts :)
How long does it take for LSAC to process international transcripts?
It's been over two months for me. Two long months riddled with complications and no proper responses. I sent in my transcripts and heard back weeks later about them needing my degree certificate as well. Sent that in urgently under a week and emailed them to check if they had gotten it since I hadn't heard back. They said they're unable to answer since they receive lots of documents every day and that I should wait for the transcript to be processed to my file. Three weeks pass by again and I mail them asking how much longer I need to wait. To which I get a reply, days later, that they're still waiting for my degree certificate! I emailed them about the confusion, to which there was no reply so I called them up and after a long, gruelling conversation I was told they've received my degree certificate they just can't seem to locate it. They were supposed to get back to me today and they didn't.
Looks like my application's slated for January now. This is so disappointing.
Any international student listening, how was your experience?
I mean my personal statement.
Hello. I'm a spoken word poet and I was thinking of submitting a poem as my Statement of Purpose. I've converted my SoP into a spoken word piece and I've even formatted it so it fits in two pages, the word count being around 650. Does it sound like a good idea to send it in or am I taking too much of a risk?
Thank you thank you thank you!
Till a couple of days ago, the Register for LSAT section (Asia) showed the next LSAT to be in October, but now it's been changed to September. Yet, the date and time beside the centres still show the October date (10/14/2018, 8:30 AM).
Is this a glitch or has LSAC actually preponed the exam (is that even possible???) and the test centre dates are yet to be updated?
Freaking out!
I do warm up before every PT- one RC passage, 10 LR questions, and a game. Which is why I'm so confused by the discrepancy :(
My scores (in said section) don't fluctuate when LR/LG are the first sections but whenever RC pops up as the first section, I go from getting a maximum of -5 to a minimum of -10. I'm planning to take all my PT's henceforth with RC as the first section, was wondering if anyone here had some other tips/insights? Thanks:)
Took me a month and a half to get to a consistent -0. I'd always make a point to note what rules gave birth to what inferences and that was the key for me. Hope that helps! Good luck! LG is truly the easiest to improve on. :)
Thank you everyone, that was very helpful! :)
Hello,
I emailed a couple of schools asking for fee waivers in November and some of them said that they needed my LSAC GPA to grant me one. My transcripts just got evaluated and since I am an international applicant, I did not get a GPA but a vague ranking (superior). Should I follow up on this and ask for a fee waiver again with this information?
Thank you!
I'd love to read it and offer thoughts. :)
I've only been PT-ing on the 40-60 PT's, are there any huge differences between these preptests and the 80 series?
International students! Hello! The application process is so convoluted and confusing and suuuuper stressful. It would help to have fellow international students around, to share insights, tips, resources, and offer support. How about we make a group?
Is it any faster/slower to approach Point at Issue Q's with JY's approach (reading first person's POV and scanning the answer choices to determine whether they agree or disagree, then doing the same for the second person's) than the usual LR one (reading both POV's and attacking the answer choices)?
Yes, I had the 60/90% cotton thingy too! Still trying to figure out if it was in the real thing or not.
Just got my LSAT score, I gave it for the second time and scored a 165. My first attempt was a 157. I'm not satisfied with my scores since my PT average was a 175, but I have severe anxiety problems and had to rush to the bathroom twice during the test because I felt like I was going to throw up, so this score was only natural. I'm planning to give it again (my last and final try), but Asia has only two more test dates for this cycle- October and January.
October is a tad bit early in my opinion, but I can make it work. I don't need to go over the CC again since I've thoroughly studied it twice now. I'll just start PT-ing from this Saturday.
I was curious if January was too late for this cycle. I'm also worried about burnout, since this will be my third time and I'm already very disheartened. Thoughts?
Just added all of you!
@ I would definitely see that as a good sign. Good luck to you!
Hello!
I worked for two international companies remotely, one based out of NYC and the other in LA, from India. Both of them were in the publishing and consultancy domain so they don't have any actual physical space in my country. In fact, I was the only person in India working for one of the companies. I am wondering what geographical location should I put in my résumé, that of the company or where I lived(and worked).
Thank you! :)
I've been over the LR CC twice now and also have tried to incorporate various suggestions I've found on the discussion forum to get better at LR and nothing works, I seem to be getting worse. In desperate need of help! I vary from -3 to -7 on LR and I really want to improve it to a maximum of -2 before my June (24th) attempt. Any clue as to what I should do?
Headspace is a great start! Highly recommend it. My head's always racing with irrelevant thoughts but ever since I started using the app, I find it to be a much calmer place. Good luck! :)
Whoa, that was so subtle! I'm so excited to have had the chance to attune myself to recognize the flaw I committed in this question. Good one, LSAT! I'm on to you.
Why are international papers undisclosed, it doesn't seem fair we don't get to see what we got wrong :(
Just wanted to know if there's any difference between the U.S. LSAT paper and the international ones and if there's anything I should keep in mind, since I am prepping with the U.S. tests. Thanks!
Been refreshing my LSAC page for the past 6 hours now when will this madness end :(
