This question broke my brain. Maybe it's time for a break lol

I understand why all the other choices are wrong but E still doesn't make too much sense to me.

My understanding is that

- railroad companies --> little regard for desires of customers

- railroad companies --> survived due to govt subsidies

- therefore, some railroad companies with little regard for desires of customers have survived

I understand the A --> B, A --> C, some Bs are Cs structure, but the entire stimulus only really talked about railroad companies in Ostronia so how can we draw inferences about other companies?

I thought that's the exact same reason why we crossed off B (because we have no info on other companies in Ostronia)

I thought E was irrelevant when I was doing blind review, but after I listened to JY's explanation, I don't understand why E is wrong anymore... If they're still presuming that teaching children computer skills is worth it, doesn't that counter Parent Q's argument that it's pointless?

C is definitely a better choice, but I thought there's only ever one right answer and no such thing as a "kinda right" answer. I feel like I'm misunderstanding something. #help

Damn I've been getting 5/5 for the past few drill tests and this one really humbled me LOL. Alternating between weakening & strengthening drill tests really messes with my brain...

I picked B during the quiz and I stuck with B after my blind review. My understanding is that the water level is higher now than before because water kept dripping down (which formed the stalagmites) then flooded the cave. I think this is the same reasoning explained in the video, just worded differently. Right...?
