interesting bc i though indicator words introduces the start of the argument... literally the opposite of what we learned in core curriculum
i dont understand why "frogs" has to be in the sufficient condition. is it because "frogs" are supposed to be parallel to tanzanite? #help
idk why i assumed muscle tissue = spleen lol. i just assumed they had something to do with each other. had AC b said "directly in their spleens," it obviously would've strengthened the hypothesis.
note to self: stop assuming!
cant believe i missed this one lol
for E, I categorized "competing manufacturer" as new. so, i thought it was one of the newly developed light bulbs, which made me cross it out. i overthink these too much ahhh.
I'm confused because isn't the support literally the premise?
JY gave this example:
For example, your friend claims that (conclusion) Avatar is the most touching movie ever because (premise) it's got that sad scene where the ship just sank and Kate Winslet is barely floating on that little piece of wood and Leo lets her stay on while he freezes to death.
So, to weaken this, wouldn't you weaken the premise?
I guess I'm just confused bc in the dragon ball z example, he says to ignore the premise and to ignore the conclusion and to just focus on the blue beam (which is the support). So this confuses me bc I thought the support was the premise? It feels contradictory to the other example. #help
i get why answer choice a is correct but also, its weird to me that answer choice d exists lol. AC d feels so irrelevant to me. like ok? who cares about other neighborhoods. so bc it felt irrelevant, i was like ok this doesn't weaken or strengthen the argument, which is why i picked it during blind review. i think its weird that just bc it CAN weaken the argument ALITTLE, that it is wrong.
I think its important to supplement 7sage with other books. I'm currently doing all 3 powerscore bibles and I'm doing drills on Khan Academy (since its free, so why not). With the extra materials, I'm absorbing as many tips as possible and I think its really helping me! So I definitely think its beneficial to do more than just 7sage before taking PTs
I always feel so silly after seeing why the answer I picked was wrong. Gotta work on not overthinking!
for #2, I almost picked D but I didn't bc it said "only members of the upper class were able to write easily" so I was like ok well maybe members of the lower class can write but just not easily. lmao i overthink so much ahhhh
i thought the lsat writers were trying to trick me with that tiny detail lol
