Looking for Logic Games Tutor/Helper

Hello,

I have a few basic questions about in/out games and would love to run them by someone.

Is anyone here offering tutoring services or looking for a study buddy specifically for logic games where we could bounce questions off of each other?

I have been previously invited to a study group (thanks for the invitation) but I have decided to hold off on joining as I may not be of much help as I am solely focusing on logic games at the moment.

Thanks!

You are fine!

Good to know, thank you.

If the LSAT score comes in later than the applications deadline, would I just apply to the school and then they receive my LSAT score once it is processed? Do you know how that works?

For instance, if I write the LSAT on November 12 and the LSAT scores come out, say, December 4th. The school's application deadline is Dec. 1. Would they just receive the scores after the fact?

Thanks!

What schools have an application deadline of December 1st? Some schools say they aren't even going to begin looking at applications until December.

I was specifically looking at University of Toronto and University of Manitoba which seem to have deadlines around that time.

Nov LSAT is not too late! But, also make sure you're distinguishing between the REGULAR decision deadline vs. EARLY decision deadline. Most schools regular decision deadline is like March 1st-April 1st (some have it way past that), whilst most schools early decision deadline is Nov 1st or Dec 1st.

Great to know. Thank you so much!

November LSAT Acceptable for Admissions??

Hi Everyone,

I wrote the August LSAT and scored a 149. I realize I need to improve my score by about 8 points to receive consideration for admission at the schools I am looking at.

I am currently registered for the October LSAT but I am thinking that delaying until the November LSAT may provide me more to time to prepare as I am a full time university student.

I was hoping to ask, is a November LSAT too late for admissions when I am applying to schools with a December 1st admissions deadline? Or would I just apply and then have my LSAT score come in once it is finalized?

Thank you for your time!

I also started the course from Logic Games and covered those same sections. I think you are good to go (for logic games) with just those

That is very reassuring, thank you so much!

Wanting to Focus Only on Logic Games

Hi Everyone,

I have a decent background in Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning due to using other study preparation tools prior to signing up for 7Sage. I am seeking to use 7Sage to primarily learn about Logic Games.

I understand that sections of the syllabus may relate, and that there may be great value to doing the curriculum in order. However, I am wondering if there are any particular sections of the syllabus that are especially helpful for improving an understanding of Logic Games. I understand that the Logic Games sections of the syllabus are titled accordingly, but it seems as though the Logic courses are also very important for Logic Games.

To my understanding, it seems as though the following courses hold direct value to Logic Games:

"Introduction to Logic", "Advanced Logic","Introduction to Logic Games & Sequencing Games", "Sequencing Games with a Twist", "Introduction to Grouping Games: The In-Out Games", "Grouping Games", "Grouping Games with a Chart", "Grouping and Sequencing Games".

Once again, I understand that all of the content within the syllabus may benefit my understanding of Logic Games, but I am seeking to prioritize my limited time. I would like to focus on sections of the syllabus that will most impact my understanding of Logic Games.

Are there any additional sections of the syllabus, not included in those that I have listed above, that I should take into account for improving in Logic Games?

Thank you very much for all of your help!

Help - How to Blind Review Logic Games?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to 7Sage and have previously been studying with The LSAT Trainer. While the LSAT trainer is fantastic, my logic games still need work!

Do you all have any tips for blind review of logic games? I have jumped right into the Logic Games section of the 7Sage syllabus, however, I made sure to watch J.Y's explanation of blind review. I understand how blind review may be applied to logical reasoning, but is there anything in particular you all do when blind reviewing logic games?

So far I have been making sure to think about my reasoning/process for each question during blind review. Any extra ideas to practice during blind review of logic games would be appreciated!
