I cant believe I spent almost a full 3 minutes on this question during a timed PT going back and forth with B and C only for neither of them to be correct smh. Literally all because I missed the key phrase "one possible explanation".

Can someone help explain Q2 for me and how AC C is wrong? I was inbetween A and C, but picked C because in the first paragraph, line 7 it reads, "Since it is generally believed that people who know the facts of a case are more likely than those who do not to HOLD AN OPINION about the case". I dont really see how A and C are different, since if they form an opinion on a case then they will deliberate with that opinion in mind and not just what is learned during the trial.

This passage (and this whole PT) has been kicking me ass. I havent done this bad on an RC section since I first started studying.

For Q19, can someone help explain why A is wrong? I wasnt sure of any of the answers, but ended up picking it because of line 30, "The economists` view is that even if such a CEO`s purpose is to look to the public good and nothing else, the CEO should still maximize profits, because that will turn out best for the public anyways". To me this sentence was talking about charitiable orgs, since as pointed out by line 25, charitable orgs are the exception to the CEO "whose sole responsibility is to the owners, whose primary interest is the protection of profits".

Can someone explain Q4 more indepth for me? I dont see how what musicians in Austria did has any baring on why Ringer calls the group a ""school" and I dotn see how the line JY points out in the explanation video correlates to AC A.

I had literally the exact same problem but for Q14, which is why I picked B over D, but at least now we know!

6 is very tricky and it took me a second to realize why B was not the correct answer and how D is better.

So first thing to realize is that the question is asking us what the AUTHOR believes traditional detective fiction is characterized by (not critics like you state).

With B, I was hesitant on this AC (and I am assuming your reasoning was similar to mine), because in the third paragraph the author mentions how "her devices to advance the story can be shameless and thin" and that the detective must solve "crimes through intuition". But the issue with AC B is that this does not mean the plot devices (or evidence) needs to be TRANSPARENT. The detectives evidence does not need to be obvious to the reader in order to allow the readers to figure out who the killer is with the detective. In fact its the opposite and the author wants the readers to have to work for these devices since they are "thin and shameless". Because James focuses so much on the characters, more so than the actual murder plot, how the detectives come to the conclusion of who the killer is are awful and barely there.

This is why AC D is the better answer, because the author wants James to be more STRAIGHTFORWARD and get to the point faster in her novels.

Yes, the question stem asking about what the author is "primarily concerned with" is very close to a main point type of question. Since the both are in regards to what the author is trying to convey in the passage.

Can anyone help me and explain further Q5 and AC D? I chose AC C, because it is mentioned in line 17 that the "song becomes more structured and stable", and after the breeding season, the "vocabulary" becomes unstable. So while I didnt love AC C i saw the use of vocabulary to be similar to the fact that our vocabulary is structured and uniform.

I have the same question for anyone more knowledgable about the LSATs. I purposefully didnt pick AC C because ethics and morals are not the same thing, so I chose AC A instead.

No you dont. You talk to them through a webchat, but after the initial distraction of "oh someone is watching me", I was able to quickly get over it.

Study Schedule

I feel like I am struggling with productivity during my day of studying and its really bringing me down that I am constantly feeling unmotivated or like I am just not studying enough in a day. I am working on FPing right now, but I am literally only getting through two games a day. I take breaks because if not my attention span is shot, but ive just noticed that I have been at this for about 5 hours and have only done 2 games from 1 section. I am trying to wake up earlier because I am so unproductive because I am thinking that if i study more hours I will hopefully be able to get done in a day what a productive person gets done within a few hours.

I am not PTing yet, but FPing LG (best timed is -8) and trying untimed RC (-12 yikes) and trying to just do a few LR Qs a day (-4).

Does anyone else feel like this and how did you motivate yourself to be more productive?

Drop your study schedules in the comments because I feel like maybe being on a tight schedule will help me be more rigorous
