How to use 7sage to study for August 21

Hi,

I'm sure this question has been posted before, but I'm curious how to use 7Sage to study. I think I want to take August 2021 LSAT. I am open to June 2021 but I am trying to be realistic. I work full time at a law firm. I studied for 4 months late 2020 and experienced burnout, so I took a break to enjoy the holidays and I moved to a new city. Once I got back into my studies, I got covid. I've had 7sage for about a month now and I just finished the Lawgic section. How does anyone recommend I use this program moving forward? I love it so far, but it seems like it could take me so long to get through it. Should I skip around? Should I jump to the sections I struggle with most? Should I dedicate 1 month to LG sections, 1 months to LR sections, 1 month to RC sections if do able, and then use the remaining months to drill and do practice tests? I'd appreciate anyone's advice. Thank you.

Hi,

All of the comments here are so important. I work full time as a legal assistant. I studied for 4 months and experienced a lot of stress from the time constraints and much tiredness from working 45+ hrs/wk, which eventually lead to burn out. I ended up taking off two months from studying to recover from the burnout, enjoy the holidays, and I moved to a new city. Then once I got back into my studies, I got covid lol. Life happens. Do not rush the LSAT. Take august. Or contrary to popular belief, don't plan when you want to take the LSAT. Get comfortable with your studies and THEN decide when you want to take the test because that might help you gauge how much time you actually want to (or are able to) study for this test. I thought 4 months was enough for myself and guess what - it wasnt. That did not come until after putting in some work first, some trial and error. I'm not sure if that is good advice or not, since the first step most people take is planning when they want to take the test. However, us full-time people are different. When i took the time constraints off myself, my stress levels changed and i was able to redirect that energy into focusing. I hope this helps.

From, someone who is aiming for August

Thank you @ logician for those kind words. I know everyone’s goals are different, but I think you should remember that you’re doing great. Those scores can get you scholarships depending what school you want to attend. Your scores are my dream scores. You are so close.

Commenting because I would also like to hear what others are saying. So far, I have gone through each lesson and tried my best to understand it. The lawgic lesson is what made me question if I should continue on even if I don’t understand it fully.

ironically, i got this right because i ran out of time and picked C, even though i thought it strengthened the argument - but all the answers also seemed wrong. i thought i would just fix it in br. now, in br, i see it was a strengthening question the whole time :

Even though I have not mastered LG at all, advice I've received includes drilling so many games that you end up recognizing the same patterns over and over.
