Hello. I have noticed that the Law School Admissions Predictor appears to overestimate my chances of getting into some of the listed law schools. For example, there is one school in which I supposedly have a 69% chance (likely target) of getting accepted, although I am below both medians for LSAT and GPA. With this in mind, should I continue to utilize the Law School Admissions Predictor in narrowing down the list of law schools that I should apply to this fall?

@-1 The step-by-step chart for reading comp. can be found by searching "Preview of RC v2 Curriculum" on the Discussion page.
Hello. I would like to request that you transfer your lessons about Blind Review from v1 to v2. In the v2 curriculum, it appears to be assumed that everyone knows what Blind Review is and how it is practiced. Although we can just switch to v1, other individuals who are new to the LSAT and 7Sage might not think to look back at v1 to learn about Blind Review.
Thanks
When you really boil down all of these passage styles, do they not all have very similar characteristics?
There is always a subject/topic
There is always a perspective (author's, individual who either shares or challenges the author's perspective)
There is always support/challenge to a perspective (Evidence or Examples)
I understand the value of predicting patterns, but, just like in LR, I think there is great commonality between passages.
#help
I understand both of these techniques but, to me, they seem to only weigh me down in my understanding of the sentences. If I chose to forego these two techniques will it harm me in the future when I face real LSAT stimuli/passages.
For example... here is my understanding of question #5:
It is wrong to intentionally misrepresent another person’s beliefs unless one’s purpose in doing so is to act in the interest of that other person.
Rule: It is wrong to intentionally misrepresent another person's beliefs
Exception: Unless one's purpose in doing so is to act in the interest of that other person.
IM ---> IOP : If you intentionally misrepresent someone's beliefs, then you must do so in the interest of that other person. (or be in the wrong)
/IOP ---> /IM : If it is not in the interest of the other person, then you must not intentionally misrepresent that person's beliefs. (or be in the wrong)
Thank you for sharing. I never thought to take a full untimed practice test. I also believe I have a greater potential to score higher and that I just need more practice to nail down the time aspect. I hope to hear that you get where you want to be soon! Keep Going!
Hello, 7Sage team & fellow 7Sagers.
I have been utilizing the RC passage explanations and have been wondering what I am supposed to get out of them. It seems the level of detail you all go into is well beyond the level of detail we should be absorbing during our read through under time pressure.
In the lessons, we were given a somewhat different sort of break down where low res. summaries and predictions of the following paragraph content were discussed. I found this very helpful as a check on how I broke down the passage and utilized this analysis to answer the questions.
I realize that there is a passage summary underneath the video explanation, but again I am just confused on how these video explanations aid in our RC abilities.
I apologize if their usefulness is obvious to everyone else. I just felt the need to express my thoughts in a manner in which I could receive some feedback.
Thank you.
@ I understand this. This is why I am pushing it back so I can spend more time on LR and RC instead of taking the LSAT in June and perhaps not getting the score I want and realize that I could have spent more time studying LR and RC.
Hello Everyone. I decided today that I would push back my LSAT date to August rather than June. I decided to do this because I am not that good at Logic Games and would rather spend more time practicing the LR and RC sections. With this being the case, I was so excited to see that there was a v2 of the core curriculum that focused on LR and RC. However, when looking at the “Learn” section of 7Sage, I noticed that there is only 94 hours of content instead of the hundreds of hours of content that was there in v1.
How do you all feel about the v2 Core Curriculum and more specifically do you think it will be a better option than v1’s Logic Games and Reading Comp sections?
Hello. I was wondering how many drills you all are doing when you reach the Drill at the end of a LR question type section. I just completed the PAI section and did two drills because I felt like I needed more practice.
Thanks!
I did this question as part of a drill for the PAI section of the core curriculum. After reading the question 5 times I am starting to understand why the correct answer is correct. However, I really have to stretch my mind to have it make sense. I expect I am not seeing it from the correct angle. Can any of you all help me understand?
Thanks!
I think these are great. A calm voice of reassurance can be very motivating and helpful to people who tend to get really anxious about their progress.
