Is there anything I can do between now and the August LSAT to bridge this gap? RC used to be my best subject. I don't run out of time. I do the same methods every time I take it. Yet results widely vary. Please advise. My LG and LR are consistent with little variance (except improvement over time) and so RC is literally gatekeeping me. I scored 159 on July LSAT. On my practice tests when I score well on RC I am getting around 165. This is making me cry. Had my lowest PT today in a long time (156) because of the - 13 on RC.

"The calculators make it seem worst case it would be the same score? "
Don't cancel if that's the worst case.
It could depend on section order. I do best when RC is first, for example. Just a guess.
It's not opened yet I can tell you that much. My guess will be around Sept 21st
Make sure you don't overlook how good the wifi situation is at whatever hotels you investigate. I would ask the hotel if they have good enough WiFi to support business video conferencing.
I cancelled mine and renewed it a week later and it still had my data.
Doing PTs and then reviewing them, using analytics to drill weakness, do more PT, repeat, wrong answer journal, LSAT Wizard on Youtube for LGs, LSAT Hacks for reviewing, and of course 7sage. Also, I do blind reviews with a friend i made on here and it's supportive. Got a 161 last month, PTing much higher, taking it one more time. GL. ALso I do the RC drills everyday too. I print out materials and drills and take them everywhere I go.
Check out your analytics and wrong answer journal and drill your weaknesses.
IT's not a complete disaster... just a word is missing, but right at the front. Should I let them know? Fuuuu---
So, I have 5 LOR that I can use. 3/5 are from people that I had an extremely close relationship with and still keep in contact with, they want me to succeed and also they are important people/professors from my undergrad, and I know they wrote GREAT things.
The other 2/5 are professors that I had a great relationship with as well, and was #1 in their classes, but their communications with me has been extremely poor which has me worried of what they might have written. One of them is from a Western Civ course that had a huge class, debates, and I was the top student, and the professor was initially happy to write a letter... The other is from a practical reasoning / logic course / game theory that I was also top in his class, but he didn't seem thrilled to write a letter and communication extremely lacking.
Considering I have the option to submit up-to 4 letters, should I just go with the 3 I know are very strong and only submit 3/4? Or would having 4/4 be better even if I am unsure what the other two might have written? Should I contact them both and share my concerns with them?
Advice please
I am anxious even though I am taking it again in October. Time to study!

Are either of you available to Blind Review PT 50 on Monday afternoon? 6/22
If so, send me a message and I will give you link to group. The next BR will be PT 51 on Wednesday.
I am central time zone, flexible schedule for BR

I am interested!! Isn't the next LSAT in August though?

Interested!! Let's kick butt together!
Here is my plan right now that I have scheduled: I am going to finish up the CC on Sunday. I have not done every practice set/drill, but have done enough that now it's time to move onto timed PTs. I am going to start with PT 50 on Monday and then adjust my schedule from there. I was hoping to find someone that wants to do the same PTs and then blind review together.
Looking for someone to chat with daily and keep each other accountable and blind review. For July LSAT only.

Can we use an external monitor for the rest?
I would assume so considering that you could have a desktop computer. When I asked proctor u support about it they said the proctor can tell if you have two screens so as long as you close your laptop and only one screen (external) is active then you’re fine. Still a little nervous about it but hopefully it’s fine.
If you close your laptop how does that work with webcam? Do you have to buy an external cam?
Yeah would not work. I had an external cam laying around so going to use that.
smart... just making sure you thought of that!

I submitted it but on LSAC it still says exam initiated. Is that normal? Should it say something else? I had the perfect essay!!!!
Any recommendations?
Now that you can use mechanical pencils on the LSAT Flex, I thought I would give some advice here as someone that is a self proclaimed mechanical pencil nerd. I have used many in practicing for the LSAT and have to give my #1 recommendation to the Delguard ER . It is 0.5 MM and has a mechanism that prevents the lead from breaking (up to three clicks). It has saved me all kinds of time and frustration. The Delguard ER is great for smaller hands, and the regular non ER model is still great, but thinner. All around it's a great pencil. The eraser is OKAY, so I would recommend a mono black foam stick eraser, but that's your personal preference.
Looking for around 3 people to join the group. Any more tends to result in a clusterf...
Will be on discord.
This is for people taking October , only.
7sagers that have done the CC preferred.
The point of this group is to go over LR sections, aprox. 3 times a week. During the morning, and afternoons depending on schedule.
Full time LSAT study members preferred with open schedules.
Avg PT score of 160+ preferred.
Repeat flex testers preferred.
Headset with MIC required for discord to go over LR sections. (Webcam not required.)
Anything above PT 65 would be ideal, so this is mainly for people looking to do the mid 60s , 70s, 80s.
Send me a DM if you are interested. I know this seems strict, but just trying to get the right people.

Thank you all for your responses. I'll definitely include an addendum based on your feedback, and I'll look into a consultant!

Letters of Rec from professors from your school that can prove you took it seriously after your two years would help.
Question back on this - it's been almost 7 years since I graduated, and I didn't really know any of my professors. I doubt any of them would remember me. At this point, I think it would be more beneficial to get letters of rec from current/previous employers that can actually provide a recommendation, rather than just a form letter. Considering my situation, should I throw this thinking out the window, and try to get a letter from a professor?
That's tough. The school I am applying to allows for four letters I am not sure if that is standard or if it depends on the school. It wouldn't hurt to reach out to a professor that you had a good grade in them and just check in and tell them your situation and gently remind them who you are. I'm not really sure how important letters are but my strategy is one is from the program leader for my department, one from professor of that department, one from a professor in the history department that really liked me and we had debates and groups, and the fourth one is my "flex" slot I am using for someone that hasn't known me for very long but highlights something in my personal statement I want to highlight.
I don't think it matters if it shows you were in "bad standing" or not. With a 2.88 GPA you definitely should write an addendum. In fact my GPA was 3.5, but I had two semesters that I had bad grades because of health issues and definitely wrote an addendum. I don't see how it can ever hurt if it's well written. Just make sure to clearly explain the situation, and the steps you took to resolve it so that it won't happen again. Letters of Rec from professors from your school that can prove you took it seriously after your two years would help.
Like the person above me said that seems like the best route to go, but what I would do is contact anyone/everyone at my school through email until I can get a straight answer including the dean/president admin office/student affairs. Don't let this stop your dream.
I told one of my professors that how it works is I waive my right to read anything that they submit, and LSAC will contact them directly. I also sent my professor a copy of my transcript, and reminded them of all my highlights in their class/club, and made it clear why I want to be a lawyer. My professor even asked if he could use part of what I wrote in my letter :) Good luck. Make sure you specify if you want them to write for a specific school or for all schools.
PM me if you want to join my discord group for July.
Thanks for clarification. Good luck to everyone!
Will the winning essays ever be made public? I am sure some people might have stories they don't want the entire world to know.
I am working on making an interactive flow chart, but I thought I would share what I have typed up so far. Please feel free to correct/add on, or give any suggestions on memorizing other than flashcards. I have a pretty ambitious idea for a flowchart/app, but it's hard to work on that and also study for LSAT so probably won't happen anytime soon.

Anyone here that is into modern board games have any that would help with LGs? TY!
I think it might depend on when your test date is, and if you have time to start with 1-35. If you are pressed for time I have seen people advocate for doing newer ones.

I think the one you're talking about is from the lesson Introduction to In/Out Games 1?
Yes, thank you. https://classic.7sage.com/lesson/introduction-to-inout-games-1/ for anyone interested
This was a very useful drill that I did everyday to warm up and I can't find it anymore. It was a long list of fruits that you hook up using conditional statements. Any help finding which section it is in would be appreciated.
