You are a champ @. Would you still be doing any more of these down the line?

I have been having issues with missing out on these questions lately, and I am not sure why---I used to be able to get them immediately. Do such questions generally include "causality" in the conclusion and as a result, one is able to know that in all likelihood, it is a correlation-causation flaw? Sorry for the stupid question (I went back to look at the causation lessons, but am still somewhat confused).

Thank you so much!

@ random: but can I just say how lovely and helpful you have been on the forums!? I look up to you a lot and I hope you get into the school of your dreams :D

@ I feel you haha; I had to serve in my country's military for over 2 years and I am way behind other people and will only enter law school earliest at 27. It is a huge bummer.

@ hi there, sorry to bother you, but do you still have the link to the quizlet. Additionally, you said that the book helped you to understand when a flaw in the stimulus is the necessary/sufficient assumption -- how did you figure it out? I look at some questions and I think they are NA/SA flaw, but they aren't, and I often get confused after. Thank you mucho.

I started studying mid-June 2020, but I was working almost full-time, so my scores aren't the best, and I am not where I want to be (scoring between mid/high 160s to the occasional low 170s). I am now dedicating 3 months full time to studying in the hope of getting consistent 170s by end of March and then take the test in April.

@ I have read in LSAT forums on reddit that it is fine if you defer, as long as you have a valid explanation. You can let them know that you would love to attend the school, but you don't have sufficient funding and loans past a certain number is not an option, so you hope to work for a year and then enter the law school in the subsequent year.

Pretty sure you will make it into a T14. I am international too. As long as you have good recommendations and a solid personal statement, you are probably set.

@ I have heard from a bunch of people that the T14s really care more about the "holistic" applicant this year. I had a couple of friends who had high 170s-180 but unremarkable softs and didn't even get into HYS, so I would definitely recommend improving your softs if you can.

^ lmao notice my logical reasoning error. Loophole: what if my friends all had criminal records? xD

@ RC felt super hard for me and I definitely think I made a bunch of mistakes. LG was smooth, and LR was somewhat tricky near the end.

RC and LR felt weird for me, and LG was a breeze - just finished the test

I have had this a couple of times. It might be a sign of burnout. Take a week off and come back: if you are still experiencing a consistent slump after, then start looking into your "weaknesses."

@ I am actually applying for the Fall 2022 cycle; I am just afraid there wouldn't be any more Flex options post-April, since I changed my studying to prepare for Flex-style tests about 3 months ago. Thank you for the response -- I will take your words into serious consideration.

Should I move the test?

Hi there, I am posting because I am in a huge dilemma here; I wasn't aware that there were only incredibly limited spots for the test days, and when I received the email for scheduling, it was 1am my time and I was in bed then; I was just told by ProctorU that the only date and time slot I have left is the 17th and 8.30pm onwards. Additionally, I have only just got back to my home country and adjusted to its time zone, and have only taken tests in the evening twice: both times I scored 10 points lower than my average, so I was wondering whether I should just move my test to April and make sure I schedule as soon as the email pops up?

January would have been the first time I will be taking the test, but now I am not too sure. I am also hoping to hit the 170s, and haven't really gone past the plateau yet (still scoring anywhere between 167-173 on average). Thank you so much!

Hi there, if you schedule your exam on ProctorU and select the times, do they adjust it to your timezone accordingly, or do you have to calculate the time yourself?

Took a break - scoring worse?

Hi everyone, I am taking the LSAT for the first time in November. Previously I was PT-ing averaging at low 170s, but then I suddenly dipped and my scores started averaging around 167-168. Thus, I decided to take a 5 days break, thinking that it would help. But since coming back from the break I have done way worse.

While previously I was averaging -0 to -2 for LG, now I am averaging -4. Further dips are seen on my LR and my RC. What should I do then? Should I just continue to take it slow? I am about 30 days away and I am somewhat flustered and desperate. Thank you so much!

@ thank you so much! I noticed that you broke past your plateau. How did you do it haha, especially with RC - that is what is holding me back. Also, I concur with your point about RC starting first: if it is first for me I end up not doing as well generally.

How do you overcome inconsistency?

Hi there! I am 2 weeks out from test day, and I am still experiencing widespread inconsistency, or random inconsistencies at times. My past 10 tests have been 176-170-166-165-170-168-168-169-170-168, and today, I got 161 on PT85, my worst in a long time. For those of you who are consistent in your scores, how do you do it? My BR has generally put me in the low 170s, but I don't get why sometimes my mind just completely blank and.I hit rock bottom.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How to Review Reading Comprehension?

Hi friends, I have looked at a couple of posts regarding this topic from awhile back, but I figured I ask the question again in order to find out if anyone is doing anything differently, or what, if anything, has helped them in the past in reviewing reading comprehension?

I am aiming to hit the low to mid 170s by Jan 2021 test day. I am currently PT-ing in the mid to high 160s, with the occasional 170s thrown in between. My reading comprehension has proven by far to be the most inconsistent (going anywhere from -1 to -8), followed by LR (-4/5), with LG being my strongest (averaging -1).

Thank you so very much! Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
