For B, I thought of it as Market researcher get more information because the consumers are being paid which will drive them to give more information to researchers.

Can someone else provide another explanation why B is incorrect? The answer choice says "most students" but so does the stimulus. So I am still not sure why the language is considered too strong

For answer D I looked at it as there was another reason outside of chess that contributed to intellectual activity. Is there a more in depth explanation that addresses why my viewpoint is not correct?
