I will say 2 / week with a day of BR for each. One a week is good too! Can drill sections on other days.

So only doing ~12 ish PTs would not be bad?

Not at all, I have done 20 in 6 months of studying (including core curriculum), and I did three pt's in the three days leading up to the test (would not recommend lol) and more is not better. Quality is. That is something I need to work on, as I scored in the bottom of my PT range in June and plan on taking again in August.

Wow this sounds like me (score range, full time job) and I just signed up for the August. Might as well give yourself a chance to score within your pt range is what I am thinking. I am not as stressed about studying tons more, as I feel like it is more about controlling my emotions and practicing smarter, not harder!

I don't think about this question in terms of logic- it is a MBT, so we really just need to look for four "could be false" types.

A- it says that a nation can ONLY be deterred if it knows that it will be DESTROYED. Does our stimulus support that? Not really. I thought of it in two ways, one I thought "cannot defend" and "destroyed" are not in the same scope. Just because a country cannot defend itself against retaliation does not mean that it will be destroyed. Also, what if it was deterred from attacking because another third country asked them politely not to? or maybe for another reason

B- We dont know this from the stimulus at all, have no idea what nations who have a lot of power think about attacking other nations without that power. could definitely be false

C- Could definitely be false, maybe they dont attack because they are allies and trade partners.

D - Correct, matches perfectly with the stimulus- "maintain deterrence" and "seek deterrence," "reason to think" and "become aware"

E- Way out of scope twice. "maximum" and "greater than any other nation"

C is wrong because the ratio of oxygen 16 to oxygen 18 in vaporized seawater (and thus in the precipitation) is the same in both glacial and interglacial periods (ice and and non ice age), the stimulus does not mention anything about that ratio changing in the precipitation between those two periods.

So the snow and rain that falls is the same in both periods in their makeup of oxygen 18 and 16.

Looking for a tutor! August/October LSAT

Hello! I have been studying since January using 7sage and took the June LSAT and received a 162 (162-168 range on PT's). I have not studied since, and am currently enrolled for the August but thinking of pushing back to October. I finally realized and recognized that I need to pay for outside help to reach my goal score of 168-170 after having anxiety about reaching out for help. I would love to discuss a strategy with a tutor and set out a schedule for the next few months, so please message me if you want a new student! (looking for 1/2x a week).

(Side note, not sure this is the best way to get a tutor off of 7sage, but everyone on JY's podcast seemed to do it this way so thought I would give it a shot. 7sage should build in "looking for tutor" as one of the posting categories!)

Thanks everyone and happy studying!

Reading SPEED is irrelevant (to a point of course, I would never spend more than 5 minutes on a passage) COMPREHENSION is what is important. It is something that I struggled hard with because I thought I needed to go faster as I too was always running out of time on RC. However, after listening to the 7Sage podcast, I realized the key to finishing efficiently and getting a more consistent/higher score is to spend no more than one minute per question, and spend more time upfront on each passage. Try it out and see how it goes!

I am currently working full time and studying, and it is definitely a give and take—you have to be kind to yourself on the timing if you do not always stick to a schedule. I will say this, I was unemployed for a month and a half where I was able to grind the CC full time, and now I can just do PT's in the morning or weekends and review after work. Devoting time to the CC upfront was the best thing I did for myself, and if I were you, I would probably take the August but plan on also taking the October. This will help reduce your stress on the first take, and give you more time w/ the CC and on PT's. (If it is helpful, I have been studying since January, started with a 148 diagnostic and now average 165 with a best of 170).
