@noraprener549 That's a good question. I guess I made the assumption that the last two passages are always the hardest lol. I guess my problem is that I spend too much time on the easier passages (even though the questions aren't tough) because I overthink my answer choices sometimes. I think I'll try to speed it up, so that I have more time to do the last two passages.

My BR scores tend to be -5/-6, and again, it's the harder passages that get me.

RC Approach: Harder questions first?

Hi!

I was wondering what your approach is when completing the RC section. I tend to start with the passage that has the most questions, but I'm realizing that the last two tend to be harder, so I end up with -7 or -8. Would it make more sense to start with the harder passages first? I would appreciate any feedback/tips! Thanks.

Hi! Depending on what you're scoring in each section, I think you can focus on LG as the main section to improve. Fool-proofing the way JY suggests really does the trick. It's the easiest section to improve and it can definitely help increase your score to the solid 150s! Good luck! :)

Hiii,

I've gone through the CC and taken a few PTs, and I notice that my main problem in LR is that I tend to make unreasonable assumptions. Especially for weaken and strengthen questions––I always end up getting stuck between the right and wrong answer choice, and I tend to choose the wrong one based on my own assumptions. In the moment, I feel like my assumption works and it's valid, but after watching JY's videos, I understand why the other AC was correct, yet I continue to face this problem. I guess my main question is: how do I know that the assumption I'm making is unreasonable or reasonable?

Not sure if I'm making any sense, but any guidance/advice/tips would be appreciated!
