Hey @ ! Thank you for responding.

Do you know if PT 101-158 are entirely new tests/questions released by the LSAC or are they remixed versions of the original PTs?

How often do new PTs become available?

I've just started to take practice tests. I "wasted" two (testing w/LG before deciding to wait to test in August) and it feels as though there are less tests available on 7sage for the August 2024 format. I'm worried about running out before I'm done studying.

I see the most recent PT available is from 2020. It's been 4 years. Do very recent LSAT tests not become available anywhere?

I completed the core curriculum recently and have now also completed 4 prep tests (diagnostic + 3 actual practice PTs).

I would not start before finishing the curriculum. I waited to finish EVERYTHING first (and spent a very minimal amount of time reading other student's advice). My diagnostic was 142. Most recent PT was 161/163 BR

You're just shortchanging yourself by doing PTs early. Those PTs will be unusable for studying after you complete the curriculum and you'll have taken them without all your tools, so to speak. Why bother?

#help Does anyone have tips for keeping track of definitions in questions like this?

I spent forever trying to figure this one out because all the different definitions were confusing to me, and took forever to sort out. I usually take 50 seconds per question but took 2:50 on this one LOL

Tips for misreading during MSS questions?

I hope I'm not the only one who has had this issue. I just started my LSAT journey and I find that, often, when I get an MSS question wrong it is because I misread one or two words in an answer choice and therefore misinterpreted that answer choice.

Does anyone have any tips to avoid this in MSS questions and in the future on the LSAT? Slowing down and reading carefully seems like an obvious solution, except we are timed and I don't want to waste time triple-checking myself either.

I flag extremely generously so those two categories are usually the same.

I think it's important to BR questions you didn't answer because the BR score will still reflect what you can do when your timing improves.

I’m trying to gauge whether or not my experience is normal.

How much time does everyone spend on reading the passage? JUST reading it, not answering the questions.

Every time I review a test or drill, 7sage tells me I’m spending about 2-minutes per passage while also telling me that my target time should be closer to 7-10 minutes. I’m not getting every question correctly so that’s not even a flex. I seem to be struggling to slow down but maybe this is just growing pains.
