No basketball player has scored more points in the NBA than LeBron James. Therefore, LeBron is the greatest NBA basketball player of all time.
To be accepting into a Law School, students must have one of the following: a high GPA, a high LSAT score, or a combination of both. Jerry got into law school. Jerry had a horrendous GPA in college. Therefore, Jerry must have done very well on his LSAT.
The strongest arguments will rule out any possibility of the conclusion being incorrect. Weaker arguments leave some level of doubt when considering the validity of the conclusion.
