I saw what I did wrong. The argument didn't lead to the conclusion of A since it was already agreed upon. This is irrelevant to whether or not the passage as a whole supports A.

You said at the beginning of the MSS series that the MSS answers will have utterly no support except for the correct one. This doesn't seem to be the case here since A does have support yet it is incorrect.
