Yes. Where did you take your test? @

@ said:

Anyone else still waiting on their score? I don't have any messages about a hold on my account.

Thanks for calling the LSAC! Yeah, it definitely seems super suspicious.

@ said:

@ well, I just called them and they said the test isn’t lost. They also said they’re trying to upload more scores today, but may not get through them all until Jan 2nd (wtf). Still something seems fishy though

@ if this is the unfortunate case, I am wondering will the free LSAT takes place in the few weeks or the notification for the free LSAT test will happen in a few weeks? I am confusing about this.... thanks for clarifying!

@ said:

@ No, but I wonder what would cause this

That's definitely an unfortunate possibility. In that case, you'd be offered a free LSAT within the next few weeks and a note on your account saying your previous score wasn't posted due to your exam being lost. This way law schools won't hold it against you.

@ no I did not know this until you posted the reddit link. If the score is coming late, then considering that tomorrow the holiday weekend starts, it will be a long waiting to find out what truly happened, right?

Or would the LSAC be able to dispatch the score tomorrow morning?

@ yes I tested at TSU. Were you too?!!

I was in the room the lady assistant forgot to take back the writing sheet before the break.

Omg I can’t believe this is happening because this test center has a good review online and the staff seemed pretty nice.....

Haha, I truly hope so!

@ Same. We just gotta wait it out and worst case contact them tomorrow. They're saving the best for last

I did not receive any email regarding the December LSAT by LSAC so far...so I have no idea how to deal with this case....

@ said:

same issue. I did signed the answer sheet. I would have a nice holiday break then.

Before the test, during the signature and seating part, when the proctor asked me to sign on the sheet, I signed in a different way from how I signed my ID (the ID is signed in the chinese caligraphy- a thing foreign student do to avoid identity thief). After being told to resign the sheet, I immediately use the rubber at the back end of the pencil and the proctor stopped me when I almost finished the wipping.... and the wipping left a gray mark on my sheet and I signed in the way I signed my ID next to the gray mark....

Would this be the reason that LSAC is holding my score?

@ said:

Nah. What's the chance it will be released before the holiday break? Still holding out for my score

I'm going to assume you'll receive your score tomorrow the latest. If that isn't the case I'd contact LSAC asap.

Thanks for the explanation. I took it in the USA.

@ said:

Aw, try not to fret guys. Unfortunately this happens every time scores are released. This doesn't mean you scored horribly or whatever, LSAC just sends out emails in batches. Any of you take an overseas LAST? Also make sure you don't have a hold on your account. That prevents you from seeing your score.

What is an “accommodation”? Is it the same as writing a petition to schools for your February score to be considered for this year-round application?

@, I also want to put in a vote for the ThinkingLSAT podcast. They're newly on youtube as well. Also, as you know, keep your grades as high as you can. You'll be glad later.

@ Thanks for your suggestions! Do you have other recommendations for studying materials besides re-watching 7sage core curriculum and practicing Prep Tests?

Can't even fall asleep. The problem with LSAT is that you always do not know completely which issue you got wrong even if you are 100% certain your logic is right....... The veil of ignorance really gets you in the waiting period..

Yes, I think you should wait. Why? Well, you yourself say you don't feel fully prepared. I think taking the test with that feeling is a bad idea. I just don't think you're going to get much out of taking the test. To make matters worse, February is an undisclosed test so you won't have any specific data points to help you study going forward.

I think you're in a great spot for taking the June test! Especially if you've only done 20 tests worth of material, all while being a student. I think you're going to eventually get that 175 you're aiming for :)

Hey! thanks for your reply. I have decided to postpone the test to June.

Do you have any suggestions for preparing for the June test? I plan to study 3-4 hours a day from now to the end of the April. From the end of April (the school ends), I plan to take one prep test every morning and blind review it every afternoon till the June test.

Thanks y'all!

I would make sure you solidify your fundamentals (LG game types/diagramming strategies, LR "lawgic" + LR q type strategies, RC develop and practice a strategy that works for you), then I would start doing timed sections and hammering out your technique. The nice thing about timed sections is you can immediately review and reassess before taking another one.

If you're scoring a 165 already you probably have a lot of the basics down.

Definitely do not take a test everyday. Taking a PT everyday is like getting your blood drawn everyday while hoping to get better from an illness.

Testing yourself everyday is useless unless you have proper time to take that information (i.e., weaknesses) and spend time learning how to get better. Otherwise, you're just going to keep turning up very similar scores.

I'd keep my PTs to 1 or 2 a week. I think that much material is more than enough to keep you busy.

Hey Alex, thanks for your suggestions. Do you have any suggestions for studying materials besides re-watching 7sage videos and Prep Test?

I was in a similar position before the September test. Didn't feel ready at all but pushed through and had a terrible experience--nerves totally got the best of me and I ended up canceling. In the end, it worked out fine (scored well in December and, in order to maximize my chances at T6 schools, I'm retaking on Saturday). But the problem with taking and canceling is that you can only really do that once. So let's say you cancel February and then retake in June…but having a bubbling disaster or end up with a bad cold? Then you're in a tough spot.

Withdraw, take your time studying, and sign up for June. You've got it…just not this time :)

Thanks for your response!!!

I have decided to postpone the test to June. Could you please share some of your experiences for studying and how do you eventually conquer LR part?

Should I Withdraw?

Only three days away!!! I feel I'm not fully prepared.

A little about my current situation: I am a junior from a top 15 college. This is my first time of taking LSAT. I have been studied LSAT for the past three months: finished all core courses; finished a least 50 timed sections of LR, 20 sections of LG, and 20 sections of RC. However, I just did one 5-section prep test and scored 165 due to schoolwork and my part-time internship.

In general, I got 3-5 wrong on RC, 3-6 wrong per section on LR, and 2-3 wrong on LG. I am aiming for 175 eventually.

Should I postpone the exam to June? I am tempted to do, especially with the added July test. Or should I take it and possibly cancel it after taking it.

They said in their email that they currently are processing all the applications they received during the holidays, and I presume by holidays they meant Christmas and New Year instead of Thanksgiving. Since you submitted your application right after the thanksgiving holidays and way before Christmas, I feel like mentioning it could be helpful for you to determine whether u need to contact GULC admissions.

Probably I am overthinking. The application and waiting process made me overthink everything.

I emailed Gtown admission.

Have you checked your application status? On their website they said that decision is guaranteed within four weeks after your application is completed, so I presume it will be four weeks after the completion date rather than the submission date.

I have had similar issues and sent an email asking the admissions. They confirmed that they are processing all the applications received during the holiday season (during Christmas and New Year I presume).

Confirm action

Are you sure?
