Though I am currently registered for February, I am going to reschedule to June. I have a full time job (6 days a week, 12-16 hrs a day), so studying 40+ hours a week to prep for the February LSAT is unreasonable. 20+ hours a week is more manageable.

I am currently going through the 7Sage Core Curriculum (the Ultimate edition), after quitting my Testmasters online course which I started in early September.

I actually recommend starting the 7sage curriculum now rather than waiting for two more weeks. I too originally started out with the TM online course, but was very disappointed with the sparseness of explanations, especially in logical reasoning. I was frustrated that TM did not provide much in terms of explanations for over 2/3 of their practice questions. After a day of soul searching, and realizing that I should not delay my learning for financial reasons (I still had 2 months left on my TM contract), I immediately started the 7sage course.

Best decision ever.

I decided to check my ego at the door and started the 7sage course from square one. I am now at the point in the curriculum where I am going over strengthen/weaken, and am kicking ass (-0 or -1 on all the problem sets). No joke, JY's Dragonball reference on how to approach strengthen/weaken questions clicked for me in a way that TM never did. The biggest difference between the TM online course and 7sage, is that the former merely videotapes Robin giving lectures to a classroom full of students, while in the latter, I get the impression that JY is personally tutoring me. Lastly, the vast majority of videos clocks in at under 10 minutes each. The fact that I can watch JY make notations and hear him explain every answer choice, has been a godsend for someone who works full-time, 6-days a week.

Pacifico, I'd like to take you up on that offer sometime (though I work Mon-Sat). I am a BCT company commander in Fort Benning, but am thinking about dropping my REFRAD packet after command, and applying to law schools. I am currently working my way through the main curriculum (cold diagnostic: 155).

I am taking the February LSAT. I was originally enrolled in the Testmasters 3 month online program, which is scheduled to end with the December LSAT. Since finding 7sage, however, I rescheduled to the February LSAT. It cost me $90 to reschedule.

Thank you for your suggestions. Do you recommend I get both the LG and LR (1-35) bundles from Cambridge? Thanks.

PT 1-35 Should I buy?

Hi, I recently upgraded to the Ultimate bundle and bought all the recommended PTs at Cambridge. All of this cost me a little over $1000. I've been working through the core curriculum and am now in the process of doing the problem sets. Is it worth it to shell out another $300 for PTs 35 and below?

I just want to echo earlier posters about taking untimed tests. I took two untimed tests and scored 164/165. The first time I took it timed under strict conditions*, I scored a 155; I simply was unable to complete each section in 25 minutes, and my brain was fried by the fifth section. Key takeaways from that experience: 1) I need to work on my timing, and 2) I need to build my stamina. There is no way I would have picked up on that by taking untimed tests.

*By strict conditions I took the test at a public library at 0800, used a virtual 5-section proctor, and bubbled answers into a scorecard.

I am currently going through the 7Sage curriculum, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
