Congrats! Hit 170 a week ago, up from 158 in Oct. Glad the core vids have been helpful for RC - tackling that next.

First -0 on LG!!!

Well, it finally happened - hit a -0 on LG! Specifically, the exp. LG section on PT91. Would it be more satisfying if it were the scored section? Yes. Am I salty about it? HELL NO!

Been chasing this one for a few months and testing on Friday - not a moment too soon.

Just want to say that you CAN do it - if you're struggling, my advice would be to make sure you're circling every "viable" board you create, because looking back and using them to weed out bad answers on MBT/MBF questions can be HUGE to save a few minutes at the end to review your answers. I've started flagging MBT/MBFs until I finish the rest of the board and it's great for stress and accuracy.

Other than that, Drill baby drill!

I believe in u!

Yep it does, thanks!

yea sometimes they try to couch it in language that makes it look like a premise, but it's always in there in one form or another.

I tend to get through all 25 with around 6-9 minutes left for review - my advice is to read the question first and hold it in your mind as you read through the text. Most of the time, it makes it very easy to zero in on which answer is right upon first scan, just make sure you really read every word of the question and answer so you don't drop a negative or anything silly like that.

Generally, I have found that my sections go faster when Im mentally substituting the subject of the text with variables - taking seconds out of your time to try and understand the context/meaning/function of the gibberish they throw at you can really eat away at review time in the end.

My only note would be that it's very important to be able to recognize and mentally prep for a question type before you read the actual scenario - knowing you're looking for a MBT/F will mean you read things differently than, say, a "Find the rule" or "Fix the contradiction" type question.

YOU GOT THIS!!!

7Sage's drill-builder only lets you see the answers to questions after you finish the drill. We're thinking of letting you choose whether to see the answers at the end (as in the current setup) or to see the answers—and possibly an explanation—after each question of the drill.

I'd love to hear from you in the comments about whether, when, and how often you might choose to see answers after each question.

Sounds more similar to the Khan practice system - dont get me wrong, I see the value and it cant hurt to have as an option, but i suspect it will significantly reduce the amount of time people spend on BR and critically reflecting on their thought processes. Just my two cents!

-5 to -7 on LR and RC, -11, -14 on LG. I've been doing games for over a month and my test is in 2 days pretty much. Really thought I was gonna be able to have these click but it just didn't. I thought this was supposed to be the most "learnable" part of this test? What is wrong with me

How are you doing on time?

I find that my score really went up (hovering at -3) once I started quickly confirming that all of the incorrect answers wouldn't work - hell, I would recommend eliminating as many answers as you can, then focusing on which answer meets the criteria in the stim.

Are there any other trends in your missed Qs on LGs?

Loosing groups at the end to time pressure? Drill.

Loosing MBT Qs? Look at prior gameboards

Loosing add'l stims? Maybe try a clearer way to write out your rules at the top.

I'm also taking the Jan test - good luck, friend! YOU GOT DIS!!!

Confirm action

Are you sure?
