Current PT-ing in the low-170s, and I'm looking for a tutor to help me with LR. I consistently score -0 in LG, -2/3 in RC, and about -3/4 in LR. My goal is to perfect LR and get it down to -0/-1 in order to get into the mid to high-170s range.

I honestly don't need much help with general conceptual stuff, but I do have a few very specific weaknesses I'd like to work on. It would really help to see how a high LR-scorer approaches certain question types and hopefully I'll pick up some useful techniques/strategies along the way. (I do ask a lot of nitty-gritty and detailed questions though, so please don't get annoyed 🙃) Please pm me or leave a comment if you'd be interested!

I think you're misinterpreting the meaning of "not unique." When it says that John "is not unique" among his friends, this is only implying that there is at least ONE other person among John's friends who share the same characteristic. "At least one" definitely falls within the category of "some," but it doesn't always imply "most." That's why (D) is wrong. (D) might be true, but because this is a MBT question, we have to go with (E), which 100% must be true.

I'm literally SO confused about this question. How are you supposed to diagram this?

From my understanding, "Unless A --> NOT B" is equivalent to..."-A --> -B"....right?

So, "Unless A OR B --> NOT C" would be diagrammed like "-A OR -B --> -C".......? (I might be wrong, idk)

The stimulus says, "Unless the building permit is obtained by Feb 1 OR some of the other activities are completed in less time --> the new library will NOT be completed on schedule."

And if you diagram this, it's equivalent to...."-obtained my Feb 1 OR -less time --> -completed on schedule...".....? But this seems to be wrong, according to the answer key.

Can someone explain to me how adding more than one sufficient condition to an "unless" statement changes how it should be diagrammed?
