Really confused as to why the definition is helpful to the argument. Could someone parse this out for me please?

Did absolutely terrible due to noises in my house and I think general nerves. Really fucking sucks since I was steamrolling PT's the past two weeks, made sure to get familiar with the actual test UI, and my proctor was really nice too. Such a waste of time just to probably get a 156-158 come 11/2
I feel the same!!! The nerves are what screwed me.
Bump, also @enddya2585 could you look into making this possible?
.
You should give RC Hero a chance if you haven’t. It’s really helped me so far
Focus on your health these last few days! You sound burnt out
Flag and move on. Freaking out will only hurt you. Come back after doing some other questions. Sometimes your brain just doesn’t work during that first read through.
I’d love to join :-) taking October and November
@matthewcsorrels859 Sorry…Just got a score of 1,000 on the real test, didn’t break a sweat, and finished seven hours before time was called.
You can also buy score preview for October and cancel your score if you are unsatisfied. That being said, 172 is an amazing score, which will allow you to get aid and admission at many great schools. Good luck this cycle, and great work!!

Thanks for your response!
I know that this isn’t a strengthening question…I should have specified my question before, sorry! In my description above, I was referring to answer choice A, which states that the argument proceeds by “redefining a term in a way that is favorable to the argument.” My question is: How is this redefining of “natural” favorable? And upon extension, when does the argument actually do this? Is this something that happens in the premises?
I chose answer choice B originally, but only because I had eliminated A right off the bat and saw clear flaws with all of the other answer choices. I see why B is clearly flawed and I saw it as such even when I chose it, but I couldn’t do much with this question under timed conditions.
I think you should definitely focus on LR and LG, 7Sage has a great curriculum for both that I’d recommend to anyone!
I think that it’s good to record your mistakes, but you should also be drilling timed sections, drilling missed question types, and referencing your list of mistakes often. You have to attack weaknesses to improve on this test.
Well if she is able to easily notice and control her humming, then she should be held responsible for not doing so. It’s not a big jump. Basically, the answer choice rules out the possibility that she is incapable of controlling her humming because she cannot notice herself doing it, weakening her argument.
Congratulations! Could you make a post with advice?
Hi everyone,
As the title says, I’m looking for someone who is willing to peer review my personal statement. I have a very rough idea of what I want to write about, but I don’t have the exact words to explain my experience, or how it impacted me and made me into the person I am today. I am also a first-gen in law and a KJD with limited experience, which makes this process so much harder. In exchange, I’m extremely willing to peer review your PS!
I’m looking for honest critiques and advice. Please don’t be afraid to be harsh — I know my PS needs a lot of work! The idea I have might not even pan out. I am very early in the writing process.
Definitely practice LG so that you can finish that last game. Once you’re done with that, fix any outstanding issues in LR. I found that working on LR also increased my RC score.
Congratulations! This is the first 160+ of many :-)
Finish the CC and The Loophole! Both were extremely helpful to me. Consider retaking if October turns out to be a score you don’t want. Don’t give up! The LSAT is very learnable! Feel free to DM me specific questions or problems as you go through the CC and I’ll do my best to explain my own methodology.
Hi, are these for the current cycle? I noticed a lot of the comments were from a year ago. Thanks for the link!
I don’t think it matters, as long as you complete the section in time. I usually just go in order of the games presented to me.
You can really utilize 7Sage to perfect LG. It took me three weeks to get through their core curriculum on LG and another week of diligent practice to consistently perform at mastery level/get -0, but you can take as long as you’d like as it is just video lessons and drills. In other words, you’ve come to the right place. Also, I’m currently working my way through the LR core curriculum, and I am seeing my overall knowledge/intuition of this section improve. Although I have not taken a full test since starting the LR cc, I am optimistic that my score will correspondingly improve.
Really great advice — thank you for this! And congratulations on your amazing score :-)
Hi!
I think that going through the core curriculum on LR can help with this if you haven’t already tried doing so. I found that familiarizing myself with the question types and their respective processes towards the correct answer was infinitely helpful.

hey how long did you use the service for? Im taking the november lsat
I’m not through the entire curriculum yet, but I’ve had the prerecorded bootcamp for around two weeks! I think you could benefit from it substantially for November if you’re able to dedicate a good portion of time to it. In any case, it is a great service and if you need more time to get RC down (many do!) there is no harm or shame in postponing or retaking the exam. A few point difference could mean the difference between an A or R come law school apps! It could also mean the difference between getting $$ or not.
