When we say "An argument is weak because it contains assumptions", what we generally mean is that "An argument is weak because it relies on one or more unreasonable assumptions". Strong arguments can contains some assumptions especially ones inherent in the non-specificity of language, but they are reasonable ones.

And what is a reasonable and acceptable argument to make in daily life, may not work in a legal context where certain values or backgrounds may not be universal.

Hi, this day and time works for me generally. Would love to get some accountability/support from a weekly group. I took the LSAT in February for the first time and will be retaking it in November because my score wasn't as high as I wanted. My goal score is 167 - 172 range, and I am currently scoring in the 155-160 range. Thanks!
