Wow, I feel super dumb. AC (E) seems so obvious in retrospect.

For some reason, I took "personal opinion" in AC(B) to mean the personal opinions of the storeowner's customers. Idk if i morphed the AC into something it isn't, but under timed conditions it made sense to think about it that way. Sigh.

the biggest thing to realize here is the shift in focus from heart disease to health in general

I love it when during the timed portion I'm utterly confused, and upon BR the correct answer instantly clicks. Just goes to show that you have to contain your confusion and read carefully!

Reading Comp Improvement

Hey everybody,

I'm scheduled to write the LSAT in July, and so far, prep has been okay. LR is relatively consistent, and LG has been my best section. However, like many others, I seem to fluctuate wildly in RC; in short, it is my wild card. So far, the method I use is after reading every paragraph in a passage, I write a couple of words down on a piece of paper as a "low-res" summary, and try to link all of them up after reading the entire passage. Sometimes this seems to work well, but other times (especially on dense and harder to understand passages) this strategy seems to divert my attention away from internalizing what I am reading and instead focusing on what the low res summary should be. For those that score consistently high on reading comp, do you write down the summaries or juggle it in your mind? I would really appreciate some advice on how you approach each passage, as this section is really kicking my a$$. Thank you!

So basically, the embedded conditional in the first sentence was just to throw us off? It seems as if the lawgic flows much better when you ignore the first part of the first sentence (as he did in the video)

This would not happen, and I will demonstrate by way of an analogy. Imagine that, in an alternate dimension, the only necessary condition for getting accepted into law school was writing the LSAT (or Law School → LSAT). In this world, there is nothing else you would have to do - no personal statements, no volunteering, no references etc. However, just because you wrote the LSAT, it does not necessarily mean that you will be accepted - i.e. you don't do that well. In this case, the LSAT is the sole necessary condition for getting accepted to law school, but it is not in and of itself a sufficient condition for getting accepted into law school. I hope this helped!
