Help: Testing

I am not quite sure what to do. I do very well on all the timed practice sets and I've learned all the LSAT content. However, no matter what I do, I cannot seem to do well on any of the LSAT PrepTests or the real exam. I always run out of time and go super slow for some reason, and the answers don't come to me like they do in the practice tests. Any tips to get over this?

This is the worst question I've seen so far. No telling that the coach misinterpreted the word"unprofessional." His comparison to professional players' unsportsmanlike behavior to justify his own team's behavior makes sense.

Should I resubmit my essay?

I submitted my application to William & Mary today, however, I just realized that I made a small mistake in my "Why William & Mary Law" essay. I referred to Williamsburg as being a "highly-populated" and "thriving" city, even though it only has about 15,000 people... I went there for undergrad and somehow misremembered it as having more people than it really does. Anyway, it's a small yet noticeable mistake. Should I resend my essay?

Does anyone know if being on your college's Honor Council is generally considered a strong extracurricular? I've been wondering this for a while, but I haven't found any information about it online. I had a leadership position on W&M's Honor Council, and I was hoping that would stand out a bit on my applications.

Personal Statement Advice

Hello, I'm having trouble starting my personal statement essay. I am considering two topics. Which do you think is best?

  • Me finally beating my older brother in tennis after a few years and not having lost since then, even though he has every physical advantage. Would be a story about my tenacity/not giving up after setbacks. Would tie it to law in that having much determination translates to the legal profession = I would always fight for my clients. However, do you think that this narrative is too cliche?
  • Writing about how my time on my school's honor council convinced me to pursue a career in law. I could touch upon a big, complex case that I spearheaded and how I loved doing the investigations/making sure the student got what they deserved based on the evidence. However, big problem here is that I wouldn't be allowed to talk about case specifics...
  • Confirm action

    Are you sure?
