What did your study journey look like?

Hello all!

Just curious about everyones experience with diagnostic, studying timeline, practice test average, and LSAT score. Also curious what it took you to get to that final score (or to where you are ready to take LSAT and have had consistent average).

Background: I am 32, a stay at home mom to a 1 year old and have just started my LSAT journey after postponing for so long. My study schedule is 5 am wakings to get in 1-2 hours before baby is up and I usually study during his naps, so I average around 2-4 hours per day (if I am lucky!). Weekends are all over, with mostly taking one day off to do everything else I need to do. I started 7sage in September of 2021, but only realistically started in February (life kept getting in the way). I am still working through the course, which is obviously not going as fast as I would like and was hoping I would be done for now.

How long, how often did you study before you took the leap and took the test? Where/when did you see the biggest improvement?

Hey all!

I am currently looking for study buddies that are in a similar life stage as I am. I was interested to see if any parents or older individuals out there are interested in studying together or working through certain questions together. I know my study schedule is 4-7:30 am, mid day (random times while my son is napping), after 8:30 PM (if I have energy) and weekends.

Just looking for someone that understands the parental struggles but still would want to be able to study/discuss the test with someone.

This was actually really helpful. I am in the group of students that can see an assumption question and not understand the assumption I am missing because, I too, have made that assumption. I am definitely trying to get better. This was explained in a short and condensed way. Thank you!

Congrats! very inspiring! Also good to know that you work and also have a family and just aren't studying all day everyday for that score. Makes it seem more attainable. How many hours per week do you reckon you averaged? FT STAH mom here and I can only study really early mornings, nap time and late nights.

Any advice on how you got there would be appreciated! VERY inspiring considering you are a non-native speaker. Goes to show hard work DOES get you there. But i'd also like directions :D
