Hello,
First time poster. I am starting to PT, I am not sure if BR is helping me. Does anyone have any tangible evidence in their experience with PT and BR impacting or improving their scores?
Thank you,
S.

Do we need to have an external webcam for the LSAT Flex exam?
Thank you.
Hi there,
Would love to join this session. How do I opt in?
I think with the rising number of cases in many states such as TX and FL we will see Flex for the remainder of the year. Some test takers will be unwilling to be in a hall with other people even if they spaced out the desks etc. I could not imagine wearing a mask for the duration of the test and being able to focus 100%. I am scheduled to write the Aug sitting and feel it will be Flex. Should I sign up to write the Oct sitting as well just in case? I have seen some discussion on here regarding Flex issues such as proctor interrupting etc.
Hi there,
I am writing the Aug Lsat and have the same question as you. I think we will see a Flex for the August take due to new cases of Covid in many states. I think some people may have deferred because of the online component or perhaps they have lost their jobs and have a funding issue? I am not sure but I think Covid will also impact the 2021 cycle as well. Some people may not wish to invest in law school because of losing their jobs and may delay another cycle. Many different issues.
Addendum: I currently am not working at the moment and study 40 plus hours a week. I am very flexible with my schedule if this helps.
Hello,
I am looking for a study buddy who lives within 1-2 hours of my time zone. I am MT and live in Denver. I am looking for a study buddy who would like to go through PT's with me where we would go over our answers and discuss why an answer choice is right or wrong. Furthermore, keep one another accountable. I am currently signed up for the August and October exam. Will be possibly signing up for November as well in case these exams do not go well. I score between 160-165 on PT's and would like to consistently reach 165 and over. On LG I am scoring between 0 and -2. LR I struggle with anywhere from -5 to -10. RC -5 to -10.
Please message me if you are interested in being my study buddy.
Thank you!
Anxiety can be crippling. I experienced this in my early 20's and it caused tremendous issues in my life and ability to perform well in Uni. I say go for it! It really demonstrates your ability to persevere and conquer something so difficult. It is a character builder. Best of luck!
Hello all,
I am at a PT plateau of 160-163. I am consistent LG 0 to -1. My poor performance areas are LR and RC. LR fluctuating with -6 to -10 at times. RC -6 to -12. RC is a real wildcard. I have started to read more material and have signed up for a subscription with The Spectator, read Arts & Letters Daily, and Science Daily. I am doing 2-4 passages of RC everyday to try and improve.
For LR I ordered supplemental material. The Manhattan Prep LR text and Nathan Fox's LR Encyclopedia. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on which LR material to use. I also have The Loophole. I would like to bring my LR and RC down to 7 or below to get a score in the mid to upper 160s. Please share your improvement stories or how you think I should change up my studying.
Thank you :)
Hello,
I am interested in receiving tutoring! Would greatly appreciate help.
Thank you.
I have stopped reading the QS and start reading the stimulus first now. I then come up with a prediction (loophole) and usually my prediction is in the answer choices. This is changing LR for me and is improving my score. I was at a plateau prior to doing this.
Thank you for your response. I was thinking of returning to the CC and then doing LR drills. I have LG almost down and my RC has always been my best I just need to get the LR down and improve those numbers.
I have been PT'ing and noticed I have improved my LG and RC sections but have not made any improvement in the LR sections. I am getting on average -9 to -13 wrong on the LR sections. LG I am averaging -2 to -5, while RC -3 to -5. Best sections RC and LG. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Taking August as well! Do you guys think this will be flex?
Hey everyone,
When do you think we will find out if October will be Flex? Do you think it will be flex?
I was wondering what fellow 7 Sagers think regarding law schools having online teachings for next year. Are schools going to continue to teach classes online? If so, could one apply to more schools with the potential of not having to move as the instruction would be online? When the school then goes back to in person learning, could one transfer back to a school in their home area?
What are your thoughts?
Thank you and have a great day!
Interested I am in Mountain time zone!
This would be fantastic!
Hello,
I recently received my CAS evaluation and noticed they included grades from non-undergraduate courses. These courses have no undergraduate standing and were for a certificate course. Does anyone know if non-undergraduate courses are included in the CAS gpa calculation?
Thank you!
Oh that is interesting. I think it will be Flex now as well. Perhaps, the rest of the year is possible with the amount of new cases everyday. I live in Texas and we may have stay at home orders implemented in certain counties due to cases rising. Not sure how LSAC would deal with this. Flex makes most sense.
Okay, thanks! Wouldn't LSAC consider this cheating though?

Does anyone know when we will find out if the October LSAT will be normal or Flex? Although LR is my best section, I'd be really happy to be able to command+F during RC, which the Flex allows.
Hi there,
What do you mean by command+F during RC? Is there something different about this section layout?
Thank you
When will we learn if the August LSAT will be Flex? Anyone have any ideas?
Constantine tutored me on RC last week. Since that time I have been utilizing the method he taught me and I am seeing really great results. I now read slower and pause after every paragraph and summarize in my head. I also visualize the passage. When finished, I say to myself what the main point, conclusion, and primary purpose is of the passage. I then go on to the questions. By doing this I have brought down my errors from -8/-10 to -3/-2. The passages I did with Constantine I had no errors! I highly recommend having a session with Constantine. It greatly helped me and I feel a lot better going into the January exam now. I am going to continue practicing with this strategy and hope to bring my errors down even more.
I would like to join.
