Can someone explain why A doesn't undermine the conclusion? Initially, I thought A was saying that few of the office workers already had health problems (as they participated in regular health programs) which caused headache NOT VDT. So, individual health problems being the cause of headache not the use of VDT.

Doesn't this explanation weaken the conclusion?

I understand why D is correct since it captures the shift from the previous notion to recent studies, but I am still not buying why A doesn't make sense.

Can someone please explain why A is incorrect?
