I'll be 30!
Hi! His sales closed on March 21. You can email him and ask him if you can still buy it, but you won't be able to do it through the main site. larry@suznannthomp484.com
He responded to my email! And just for clarification's sake, he said all sales close after the ~17 day window. The course doesn't "sell out" since it's online.
Ha same. I’ll keep you posted for when he replies. To be fair it’s been less than 24 hrs at this point.
Can that "or" be an inclusive "or" and you practice both LR and start on LG? Coming from someone who wishes she'd stayed brushed up on LR (and meant to but didn't) while I worked through the LG curriculum and foolproofed...
I don't have any direct experience obviously, but I just got an email from him and he says in the email that he "responds to every email."
Good luck!
@yifeiwang926 stay strong! I envy you. I check mine about twice a day- once in the am and once in the pm. Really liked when I wasn’t so obsessive...I can thank discovering reddit for that. If you haven’t already started stalking Reddit, don’t! 😂
Edit: never mind. Just searched “buy” on his website and it says sales are closed. You can sign up to join the waitlist.
Has anyone purchased this this year? I’m confused a little about the website and was only able to find the purchase link thru the link posted above.
Adding to my initial review that I took the test here again in January and I was the only person in my testing room. There was another tester in a different room. Proctor was great again. Western CO is a solid place to take the LSAT plus you can go to Crested Butte after to celebrate :)
I'm going to say that I was "pre-phrasing" after watching webinars on here about it, and I then I got a tutor and we threw that strategy completely out the window. His logic was to use the answer choices as a guide and help the test work to my advantage. I found that pre-phrasing often led me to a red-herring answer or messed me up. This may be an unpopular opinion on here, but that is my 2 cents. Best of luck! Hope you find the strategy that works for you!
Wooo great job! It is the best feeling to finally be DONE :) Hope you celebrate!
@nikitamunjal950 expressing solidarity with you! I'm feeling similar but plan to use the rest of this afternoon and tomorrow to decompress and keep my mind busy with things other than the LSAT. Saturday is just another test- I know I've taken a bunch and I'm sure you have too. We've got this- truly!
Hi! My process is not fancy but gets the job done. I elevate my phone on a book and then lean it against something (ex: a kleenex box) that is on top of the book.I have used tape to help angle the phone down a bit, but I have been able to figure out timing, etc. with it just elevated and propped. The videos I usually bluetooth from my phone to my computer. I have only had success uploading 1 to Google Drive b/c the files were too big. I tried zipping them and everything, so I'm not sure what the secret to the upload process is.
@gregoryalexanderdevine723 Got it! Thank you! Didn't realize that Drills 1-35 dropped down into all those PTs! Thank you!
@gregoryalexanderdevine723 Thanks so much for this! I am searching all over the syllabus for PT B and can't find it. Is it on 7Sage Ultimate?
Hi @leahbeuk911 ! I have tried both bubbling after each question and bubbling in groups (after each page for LR, after each passage/game for RC/LG). I find bubbling in groups most beneficial for me. I also use a method mentioned by @suznannthomp484 (I think) in a post on bubbling errors where I use put my left pointer finger on the question number, my left thumb on the answer choice, and use my right hand to bubble in on the scantron (obviously switch if you are left handed). This has helped me decrease bubbling errors with group bubbling and skipping.
To answer your question specifically, I DO put marks (typically a straight line) next to questions that I skip (I also double circle these in the booklet). At the 5 min mark, ideally I'm already back looking at the questions that I've skipped, but at this point I typically erase the marks that I made on the scantron b/c otherwise I get too nervous that I'll leave them there by accident. Also, at the 5 min mark I switch to bubbling per question vs. group bubbling.
There are lots of posts on bubbling and some insight offered in the webinar videos on bubbling. That's where I got all the tips mentioned above.
Hope that helps!
@harveylou1239 I got a tutor after taking the LSAT in November to help me solidify my LR skills and identify specific areas I need to focus on. Having a tutor has helped me to solidify my timing and my approach to test taking in general. I appreciate the insight that my tutor has had to offer on "tricks" that the LSAT writers employ that are not necessarily highlighted in the videos. I wish I had started with a tutor sooner in my LSAT journey- I maybe wouldn't have to be taking the test this 2nd go round. If you're able to hire a tutor, I highly recommend it. I used the tutors provided in the link mentioned above and emailed them all for their availability. I chose my tutor based on $$ and availability. I also knew I needed help with LR, so I chose one who specializes in LR. My tutor I had an initial free consultation and I found it helpful, so I committed. Hope that helps!
@lverwiel328 I believe that the one from November is also the one for the January test BUT I could be wrong. I haven't seen mention of a new one for January.
I chose to change my clients' names when I included their stories in various essays just to play it safe. It sounded weird to me at first but after reading their pseudonyms so many times it sounds natural to me again.
@ayaladeziree615 Yes I totally agree! I just looked at all my percentages and thought "oh well!" I applied anyway :)
Hi! In his office hours, @davidbusis895 said this (to be interpreted with a grain of salt always since it is only a predictor):
20% or lower super reach
20-40% reach
40-60% target
60-80% probable target
80-100% safety
Hope that helps!
Woooo congratulations to you! :)
Hi! I used it and it was very helpful. I sent what I considered to be my final draft. They polished it and suggested ways I could make my narrative more compelling. I was able to incorporate their suggestions and make the final final draft something I feel proud of. I would suggest having others you trust and you edit your personal statement first and then send them a very polished version. Hope that helps!
Heading to UGA!
