The stim says nothing about what happens after passing over the rainforest and only tells us information about what happens "along" the entire route (which is that O18 remains fairly constant). We cannot determine anything about the situation presented in B. I personally am still working on reminding myself that "inference" on LSAT is not actually an inference the way we think about it in our daily lives - it is simply a different way to write MSS. As others have said, sometimes it's helpful to add "according to the passage" before each answer choice. For me, doing this naturally eliminates B.
