@, there is no real way to know which section is experimental. Although you can tell that if you get an extra RC or LG section that at least one of them is the experimental but you could also get a third LR section. That being said there is no way to tell which one specifically is the experimental. To be honest I knew which one was the experimental section because it was so much easier than regular LG. Needless to say I owned that one and did not do as well on the real one. It was confirmed when I checked my scores after the test. My LSAT score would have been a whole lot better if it would have been the real scored section.

Absolutely, it's not uncommon for something to become an LSAT myth/legend. I just like knowing sources so I can confirm validity.

How do you know they admitted a 142? I'm just asking because my first attempt was not much better than that and I got denied to a bottom tiered school (that being said it was several years ago when law schools had a higher applicant pool).

Thank you for the input! I'll consider my options.

I agree the test seemed to fly by, I was rather surprised it because it seemed easier than the practice tests. Of course I had J.Y. in my head helping me decide on answers.

LSAT Ultimate Package?

I need a bit of help on this one, I am currently working on my MBA and studying for the December LSAT (a bit obvious but I thought I would just make it clear). I am enrolled in the Basic class and considering the Ultimate one, however given that I have less than two months would this make sense? I do not work AT ALL, I am just preparing for the LSAT and working on my MBA. I can devote the full 40+ hours per week to the LSAT if necessary. I could take the Premium but I really want to be as prepared as possible. This is my second and (better be) last attempt. I don't want to waste the money if I won't see enough of a return, however that being said even a few points of difference can make or break an application. Thoughts?

@ I have the 180 watch and I have not seen the same problem. Maybe you can get an exchange.

I almost didn't make it to the LSAT today, the parking attendant that was supposed to open garage didn't open the garage so I had to cut in front of another car so they would have to let me in. It was 8:21 when I finally parked and got to run to the testing center up three flights of stairs. I took a few minutes caught my breath and owned that test (well I hope I owned it but the rest is accurate).

If that is the case, I would as Kyuya suggested start with a higher timed amount and then as you take more and more PT's reduce the time until you get to the 35 minutes. That way your body/brain will get use to the time a little more gradually.

Either that or I would gradually increase your time to the point that you feel comfortable answering the questions and then work your way back down to the 35 if you are shooting for the maximum score.

An alternative suggestion would be to answer fewer questions on the test to give you more time with each one and make sure you get them right and guess on the really hard ones. Just my thoughts on the time issue.

Are you sure?
