I would take a look at the subReddit for LSAT, you are definitely not alone in this!! Many people with phone numbers that they were given or what (lack of) help they received.
I haven't taken mine yet, but am a little nervous having seen so many stories with tech/proctor issues.
The email does say that if an organization's rules conflict with theirs, that the organization's rules take precedence. With that in mind, I think you might be okay. I don't believe LSAC has any issues with wearing jewelry during the test.
Worst case scenario, although it might be painful, you can for sure go back to the piercer and have them help you to get the piercing back in. I had to get my nose ring put back in about a month or two after I got it and my piecer was nice about it.
Having a score that will get you in a least somewhere takes that pressure off of October too. I think it really helped me when I re-took in August, knowing that I at least had a workable score to fall back on if I needed it.
