does it cost money to delay your lsat from say july to august? if so is there a deadline?

I completed my July LSAT flex on Tuesday and still have yet to do my writing. I have two questions. 1) is it problematic not to complete the writing on the same day as the exam and will this hurt my applications. 2) If not, how long is the LSAT writing available to take?

I see that on LSAC they say you can have two number two pencils. Does this mean that pen is not allowed? If so does proctor U check your scrap paper after the test? I am really an anti pencil person.

Can it be harmful to take the LSAT twice? I took the flex in July and received a score I am content with. However, I know I can score up to 5-6 points higher but, sometimes I score lower than what i got on my PT as well. My question is if I scored say 3 points lower could this sabotage the score I have already have and do most schools evaluate both scores. I come here because I have seen mixed answers elsewhere.
