I had the same problem last week. Take a day off this week, an entire day where you don't even think about the LSAT (or try not to). Go do something outdoors, or whatever you like to do. I was in a slump and did this, then PT'd my best score the next day. It really helped clear my mind!

My favorite lawyer movie ever is A Time to Kill. A young Matthew McConaughey,

Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock, and Kevin Spacey. Probably one of my favorite movies, overall.

West Wing is my favorite show, and The Wire is fantastic also.

Thank you for the responses, everyone! This community is very helpful! I'm going to take PT 62 today. With just under 3 weeks to the test, I want to take some of the PT's people find most difficult so I feel more prepared, as though I have seen the toughest material. I recognize the tests are relatively similar in difficulty, but some are undoubtedly (if slightly) tougher than others. I will take some of the tests you all listed!

@.hopkins I found the June '07 preptest particularly easy as well! I got my personal best score of 176 on that test. As for recently taking that test, I haven't taken them in any particular order but I've done 22 of them so far and according to 7sage analytics (which is incredible), I am averaging 171! :)

What is different? PT's 70-75

Hello all,

I have been consistently scoring well on PT's in the 60's, but I've experienced a drop off on PT's 70-75 on reading comprehension and logic games. On those two sections, what exactly is the test doing differently? Has anyone noticed any patterns or tricky behavior by the test makers? I can't quite put my finger on it, but they seem tougher.

Toughest PrepTests?

Hey everyone,

First time poster but I have been a lurker for a few weeks. I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone have a list of some of the tougher preptests? I'm taking the June LSAT and I want to see where I stand on the especially difficult ones. Does anyone know which preptests people tend to do poorly on?

I just got my best score yesterday after taking the June 2007 preptest, does anyone know where that one stands in terms of difficulty?

Thanks!

Great job! If you wouldn't mind me asking, what was your GPA? I'm a fellow Georgetown hopeful with the same LSAT score.

Addendum for letter of rec?

Probably an unusual question, but I have an unusual situation. I contacted the one professor I worked for, took multiple classes from, TA'd for etc back in October. She said she would be more than happy to write me letter. I haven't been able to get in contact with her for months, and my old school would not release any information. She is very old and I recently found out she is battling cancer. Of course, I don't expect her to write my letter now.

I have one solid letter from a prof, and I have a backup letter from my high school English teacher (the class was a college-in-the-high-school class, for what it's worth). Should I mention this stuff in an addenda? I recognize a letter from a high school teacher is probably a little lame, but I did write my optional essay about him. There is no other professor I was very close to/could expect a letter from in a short amount of time. Addenda or not to addenda?

Also, is it okay to mention multiple things in the addenda? I want to write about my upward GPA trend as well.

Thanks everybody!

Mine is the same. It just tells me the building the test is in and to meet in the lobby, but I've been in that building many times and there is no lobby. I'm sure they will make it obvious on test day, though!

Coffee Drinkers?

I've read over and over that people advise against drinking coffee before the LSAT to avoid a crash and to avoid the... Laxative response it often elicits. However, I believe I am probably not the only one who is physically incapable of functioning at a college level without some form of caffeine. I generally drink coffee both before and during my PT's. What are you coffee drinkers planning to do? Drink a cup before going inside the testing center? Bring some coffee for the break? Caffeine pills? ADULT DIAPER!?!?

Are you sure?
