Hey everyone I just heard back from my dream school and i was wait-listed unfortunately. I'm new to this game so I have no idea on what I need to do to increase my chances of being admitted. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks and good luck to all.

I too have this problem with the NA questions, but have not conquered it yet. Glad to hear that it is doable though. Any suggestions on things to look for or patterns that you have picked up on ?
So I took PT80 in the morning and I scored my highest yet, but for some reason since the score is about +5 higher than what I usually average I am confused if this was an easy test or if something actually clicked in my head. Any experiences or thoughts on PT 80 ?
Does LSAC release everyone's scores on the same day or do some people get it earlier than others ? Also is the date that's posted online the day when it will be released or is that an estimate by them of when they will be finished scoring and etc ?
Yes all of them have been proceeded, I had two institutions. Is it because I have not purchased the CAS (Credential Assembly Service) yet?
So i just registered for the december LSAT and the only location available nearby was the long beach convention & entertainment center. Im wondering if anyone has taken an LSAT in this location before or knows what the test conditions are like.
This sounds amazing!

You’ll need a header (with your name, LSAC number, and “Personal Statement 1 (page number)”), but I don’t think you should have a special title for your statement.
Got it, I'm a bit confused about this:
So would it be Personal Statement 1 on the first page and Personal Statement 2 on the second?
Hey guys so im not sure if I am suppose to put a title on my personal statement, need some help here.

You're a legend, thank you ! great info

Vandy. Most mobile school from what I've seen. I feel like WUSTL isn't as mobile outside the Mid-West area. This becomes an issue if you are trying to go to CA. If you're getting serious money from theses 2 schools, you are definitely in the ball game for USC and UCLA. You may want to consider those two schools if you don't mind sitting out a cycle.
That being said, if money is a big issue than WUSTL may be the way to go. Just need to align up your plans and what you are willing to do.
Good Luck!!!
So I was rejected from USC not sure why entirely but it is what it is. Im WL at UCLA and Northwestern currently so I'm waiting to see what they say. Also can you explain what you mean by "mobile school", haven't heard that before so I'm a bit confused. thanks!
I want to apply now, but I don’t have my December scores yet. Do I have to call each school individually and tell them to hold off until my December scores are available? And do they automatically get the scores once LSAC releases them ?

Not sure if it’s too late but big law at either of those schools is worse than a coin flip. If you’re set on LA and you want big law you might do better with UCLA, USC, Loyola, or another California school.
But Vanderbilt has the best % of graduates in the past 3 years going to Big Law post graduation outside of the T14 schools.
One of my Junior College professor who knows me very well has agreed to write me a LOR. But for my second LOR; I emailed my university professor but he said he didn't remember me (:/ SAD), so I am deciding if I should contact another one of my Junior College professors to write me one or ask a TA from a university. Any thoughts ?

This last weekend was a major deposit deadline for them. The interview is the same as the first except there is a timed writing portion (15min sections) also
Awesome! ty, I was a bit confused as to why they would have a second interview if its the same thing. Do you remember what the writing portion was about ?

Do you have an idea of the location you would like to practice?
Yes I want to practice in Los Angeles after graduation.
Hey everyone so I got into both schools WUSTL offered be about 130K and Vanderbilt offered about 70K. Which school is better for big law? I need help since I cant figure out where I want to go.
Hey everyone just got an email from Northwestern and i've been WL. Does anyone know when their first deposit is due for admitted students, I'm trying to figure out when there will be some movement on the WL. Also if anyone else is on the WL and has done the Kira interview; what should i be expecting from it ?
Hey so I'm curious if it matters if the LOR's are from a TA or professor? does it look bad if you have one written by a community college professor (I am a transfer student) and another one from a TA at a University.
So I may be overthinking this process, but whats the proper way to send a LOCI. Do i attach it in the email as a doc x, pdf, or copy/paste into the body of the email. Also are these suppose to be double spaced or single spaced?
there is like a column of gray on each side for mine, although the vertical portion of the picture fits perfectly. As long as they can identify you from the picture does it matter how much gray space is actually present ?
I have the same problem, I hope someone can clarify. I am unable to make the image fill the entire square.
I also took it at the same location (Long Beach) and they took away my watch 5 min before I entered the room, I agree the conditions were horrible. The bathroom rule is completely ridiculous; people were waiting since 8am and had to use the bathroom. I think it was a huge mistake to put all those people in one room; too many factors for them to be able to control and keep things organized.
Hey everyone so this will be my first time taking the lsat and I am confused as to what i should be doing in the days leading into it. I took a practice exam 3 days ago on Saturday. And have done little review here and there, but I don't know what I should do from now till Saturday in terms of review or practice exams. Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks and good luck all.
The last PT I took was on Saturday and it was the highest I have scored. So I don't know what to do. I'm lost lol.
So take it and not grade it then ?
I am taking the September Lsat which is on Saturday and want to take a practice exam tomorrow morning (Wednesday), is this a good idea or not since its kind of close to test day?
So i've heard from several people different experiences in regards to the lsat proctors on test day. Some say that the proctors stay in the front of the room and others hover over you as you are taking the exam. I personally find it intimidating and distracting when someone is walking around me and watching over me as I am taking an exam. Does anyone know if this is a LSAC protocol or it varies from proctor to proctor?

Regular splitter: GPA ( 25th, LSAT) 75th
Reverse splitter: GPA > 75th, LSAT ( 25th(/p)
Soooo in my case I would be a reverse splitter for the school I am looking at applying. How does one determine or approximate the chances of getting in to that school if you are a splitter ?
Just got my scores and I was looking on the LSAC website regarding each schools 25-75% and was curious as to what a splitter is? lets say your LSAT is in the 25% but your GPA is in the 75% does that make you a splitter ?
Hey does anyone have any links to informative websites discussing the waitlist process and what to do. Also I'm looking for help regarding LOCI; any samples to read from? Thanks.
I am going to take the September lsat; I took a practice lsat on saturday and was wondering if i should review/relax until saturday or take another practice exam before the actual test day? and If so which day is best to take practice exam on? Thanks and good luck everyone.
Gotcha thanks! I always thought that they sent the scores through email and you just open it to see your score.
When will the scores be out? I checked online it said Oct. 12 but do they release them early morning? And do you need to log into LSAC to see them ?

Is it me or is the RC section of this exam extremely difficult. I took a 5 section exam and this was the 5th section of the exam, half way through it I felt like my brain was about to shut down. I pretty much gave up going into the 4th passage of the section. Anyone got some advice or any experiences ?

You are going to want to have a few components.
Thank them for their consideration. Tell them they are still your first choice. Tell them why they are your first choice(be specific with examples of programs, a personal connection, or maybe things you found out on a visit). Provide any other updates(grades, increasedwork responsibility, ect.). Tell them you will inform them before committing to any other school(so they know your continued interest will last a while). Then thank them again for their time and their continued review of your application.
And when will it be best to send them a letter such as this ?
So I have been waitlisted to a school I really want to go to. Now I read that if you that school is your first choice then tell them that if you get accepted you will attend. I plan on doing this, but I'm not sure how this is suppose to be written in a letter format lol. I have gotten used to logical reasoning diagramming and it has taken over haha. Also when would it be appropriate to send one of these letters to them.
I shall make a trip to the local liquor store then
Hey everyone I need some help/advice. While studying for the LSAT it seemed to me that there was a method to the madness certain steps/processes to follow in order to effectively reach the end goal. However, when it comes to the personal statement I am completely lost, I write something and end up deleting it because I don't like what I wrote or there are times where I sit down and just don't know what to even write about. Is anyone else going through this?
While waiting in line the so called proctors were actually checking inside the bags and 2 of the ladies told me that everything was fine. But once I got to the front the main guy who was in charge of everything tells me that I would have to toss it. Also I just spoke with the LSAC over the phone and the person said that it’s ok to use the watch. So I don’t know what the hell happened :/
So was the perfect score v4 watch banned from the December lsat or was I the only one had his watch taken away 5 min before the exam started?
The reason I am confused about the A+ thing is because I had about a 3.83 GPA at CC and a 3.93 at a UC upon graduating, but my LSAC gpa is a 3.85 so I am confused as to how that helped increase my GPA lol. I feel like something is off
So my transcripts were fully processed and I accessed the Academic Summary Report and saw that there was pretty big gap between the "Degree (summary GPA" and the "Cumulative GPA". Not sure as to what the difference between the two is even though I read the description box. And not sure as to which one is used as part of my application. Also if I have received A+'s during undergrad how do I find out if they counted as 4.33 or 4.0?
Just curious if anyone has received a fee waiver from Duke, I am interested in applying there and am wondering if they even send them out, I got several from other schools but not Duke.
Does anyone know if LSAC has banned the Perfect Score Watch? I am aware that recently they had banned certain watches so I just wanted to be sure.
So someone told me that we are required to fill out FAFSA for law school. Does anyone know if this is true and if so by when are we suppose to do this? before or after the application.

I simply re-read the passaged untimed and write line citations near any of the answers. I'll often read it twice during blind review too.
Can you explain what you mean by "write line citations near any of the answers". Thanks.
