So I've been struggling with reading comp... my first diagnostic I got around 8/27... after practicing for awhile I was able to inconsistently get a few points higher. I have now started reading actively and I find this is helping a ton. I'm up to 17/27, but the question types I am now struggling with are inference. Anything that requires me to infer something from the passage I can't seem to wrap my head around. I've never been a strong reader and RC has been a challenge to improve on. Just wondering if anyone has any advice for inference questions, or RC in general.

I suffer from anxiety as well and am also taking the test tomorrow. I have pretty much shut down the past two weeks to cope and not allow myself to get overwhelmed, but the procrastination and fact that I haven't been studying makes me overwhelmed. It's a cycle. My advice is that, what someone said above, notice the pressure you put on yourself. Once you realize this is not life or death and that you only can try your best, it helps. Mindset. Good luck and be kind to yourself.
@ Hey Harvey, Rachel here. I am struggling with reading comprehension as well. I was discouraged at first but the slow improvement is helping. I am frustrated because my other sections are more than great, and I keep getting asked "so how are you finding logic games? hard eh?". I am actually obtaining close to full marks in logic games and feel weird that reading comprehension is my lowest because it appears that it is less common to struggle in this area. What I began doing is reading each passage and creating a quick summary in my brain and on paper. I also focus on sentences that I read but make 0 sense because when reading novels or textbooks it can be easy to skim sentences that are difficult but in reading comp it is crucial to understand everything written. I also automatically look for patterns (especially when there are two paragraphs) and I look for unfamiliar words. I have noticed that time and time again questions arise that specifically ask me about what an author means by a word that while reading seemed to stand out. I hope this helps and I hopefully you realize you are not alone!
