I think the way to differentiate between A and D is looking at what the last sentence tells us which is that investment is not decreasing. If we take a look at AC A the conditional statement is:
EW → Investment Decreasing
Since we know investment is not decreasing we can negate the necessary in this statement and get EW. But this cannot be true because we already have concluded, from our original logical statement, that when investment is not decreasing we get to conclude EW
On the other hand, for AC D we are given the conditional statement:
EW → PC
Since we are told nothing more about PC, this statement could be true and hence it is a wrong answer
When is it ok to make assumptions, because I thought we are not supposed to make assumptions?
