I feel you 1000%. I'm supposed to be taking the lsat next week, and I'm scoring 161-162 and I want at least a 170 next week sooooo
100% agreed, I got 13 right on the second try by really asking myself the definition of mechanism and the def of a theory. Then going back to the passage and seeing if what Marie described a mechanism or theory and you'll notice it's a mechanism.

Ms. Juliet thank you so much! I've been doing PTs 1-12 for RC and LG drilling and I was hopeless that none of the other tests would have LR reasoning just like the 1-12 PTS but now that I know PT 17 on is where I need to practice. You're the best!!
I needed this so much, I just had a breakdown earlier today from a section I was usually getting -4 and -5, I got to -11 this morning. Thank you so much and honestly you're pretty freaking tough and inspiring to survive through 3 years of LSAT studying. Best of luck!

Same!! It was so relieving that I wasn't the only one who thought this passage was unnecessarily difficult and convoluted- especially when JY was giving himself points for words he knows that was so funny and relatable lol
Initially, I was resistant to B being the wrong answer but then I learned that because the answer I chose had "sometimes" in it it was more likely to be supported than B.
I honestly am surprised I chose D, I probably ran out of time. But now as he reviewed the questions I realize how C,D, and E are completely irrelevant. And B weakens the argument, thus A is the correct choice
D is indeed the answer, and E is not the true answer because it contains key phrases from the PREMISE like suspicions of plagiarism. While D, when I did this problem I also thought it was a paraphrase of the conclusion and the key words from the conclusion were in the correct answer D.
That makes so much more sense now, now I see how choosing E is definitely wrong.
Karl Marx and his sociological theories are ten times better than whatever the heck this article was about. This article sounds like they kept inventing words to create a whole theory for themselves (when normal words would have sufficed but they wanted clout so they invented new words)
