Thank you!! I would be more than happy to share some of my methods for studying. In the beginning, I focused very heavily on the specific question types that I was missing on my pt's. I was consistently getting Flaw, CausR, LinkA, NeccA, and SuffA wrong. I did the lesson videos for these to correct my approach and began to drill them at an increasing level of difficulty. This allowed me to become more comfortable with the way the questions were asked and the classic traps that the test makers would use. It also allowed me to look into the way my brain was processing the information given, which sounds weird, but by doing so I was able to learn the kinds of leaps in logic I was making and to stop them before they happened. Once I was proficient in questions of these types from levels 1-3 of difficulty, I kinda assumed I understood the core of them and started just brute-force drilling entire sections. I got to a point where I would rarely miss any 1-3 difficulty questions on a section, but levels 4 and 5 were pretty bad. So, I just started drilling those over and over. What helped here was doing them untimed and slowly going through the correct processes. After that, something just clicked, and I went from a 160 to a 165 in a matter of a week, and then slowly up to my most recent 170. My real takeaway is that the LSAT is so predictable. They have like seven or eight different tricks up their sleeve, and when you see them for the first time, it's terrifying and completely derails you, but once you've seen them all hundreds of times before, it becomes almost funny. Drill until you are bored of the questions or until you get so bored you start coming up with better answer choices or funnier ones. For RC, my advice is much more limited, but it would be to read for structure instead of content. My initial reads were so detail-oriented that I could never see the big picture; after I changed that, my score radically improved. I wish you more than luck; it is a tough test, but I do believe anyone can conquer it with enough time and motivation.
