Does "not uncomfortable" necessary mean that the place is "comfortable"? I remember JY saying that negation must be the binary opposite of the adjective but not the descriptive opposite of the adjective?

Some of iatrogenic diseases are caused by negligence, medical errors, and bad hygiene etc. . I understand that it might not necessarily cut the number of death in half, but I don't see why the argument must consider that people who do not die of one cause may soon die of another cause. Preventing iatrogenic diseases doesn't mean not to perform the operation but to reduce the risk of the operation due to preventable errors.
I am in almost the same situation. High GPA from a top school but around the same LSAT score even after the 2nd try. I am torn over whether to apply as I want to get into Big Law. I am afraid that even if I take it the 3rd time, my score won't go up (or even down).
