Regarding B and C:

B is correct - I think it's easier to think about it as a math question:

If it's a math question, then it will look like this: two factors will affect the amount of reading, time and level of passion (hobby), we assume both sides have same level of passion, by having less time, people from a century ago read less.

C is wrong - because "The number of books sold" has nothing to do with the concept of amusement so this won't do anything to weaken the argument. The conclusion is "they likely read much more than we do today." - for amusement, who likes to read more does not necessarily connect to who buys more books, I can buy 100 books now and read none of them, a person from a century ago can buy 10 books and read all of them.

the word "always" in the stimulus made me wonder if A is correct... but then I guess A said "experiences" is more like "a regular or habitual event" that it happens over and over again, like we say "the sun goes down"?? It's not describing just ONE season. Otherwise, to me, it doesn't justify the word "always"

I felt like A and B are immediately eliminated. No need to go through any logic.. 1. A and B are opposite of each other which means..."if one is helping, then the other one is helping too." But we only need one answer, so I don't need to think about the math, they're both wrong. 2. It says two populations: one wild, the other captive. If A or B is true, then why are they the wild ones??if they're so easy to capture, then they fall into the captive ones...

  1. i feel like to add the subject back in is really helpful and easier to understand, it's more like: "some cultivars of corn are much more closely related morphologically to sorghum than some cultivars of corn to most other cultivars of corn."

  2. then it's pretty clear to me that it's "sorghum" vs. "most other cultivars of corn"

  3. "sorghum" wins.
