D's maint pt: teach them how to eat --> D is correct

I genuinely don't understand why this passage only gets 2 stars for difficulty, to me it's one of the most difficult passages I had to dealt with

got this wrong b/c my esl brain doesn't know what social drinker is...

I have a question with #23 answer choice (E). It says "...an assumption that cannot be verified using the archaeological record..." but we know that the assumption is in line with the current archaeological records, we just don't know whether these records are complete?
