I understand the whole formal logic chain, pretty simple, however I do not understand why the last sentence is added to the end of the chain (a necessary condition) when the sentence starts out as 'The only', which implies sufficiency. Not sure for legal reasons if I am able to post the actual question on here, but I am more the welcome to if somebody if willing to assist me. Thanks!

Admin note: edited title; please use the format of "PT#.S#.Q# - [brief description]." Also, you are correct - please do not post the entire actual question in forums for LSAC/legal reasons, the title format helps others reference the PT and question. Thanks!

@ Thanks for the insight! While I don't cover the BOR in such great depth, this would foster a great class discussion for my American government students.

Hey there @ ,

In regards to this amendment, are you referring to the idea that it is 'Congress' who can not make laws prohibiting these freedoms, but says nothing about our leaders creating executive orders.

This would seem incredibly helpful for calling out assumptions, as well as paraphrasing challenging stimulus. I'm in!

I was thinking the same thing, however applying in late January puts you at a larger disadvantage than does applying now and waiting for your January score, doesn't it? Or do schools not care when you submit your application if it is not complete?

Hey there 7 Sager's!

I'm sure there are a handful of you out there that are in a similar conundrum as I am. I took the LSAT in October, scored below the median at my target school, however I am retaking in January. Should I apply prior to taking in January, or hold off until I get my January score back? My concern is being rejected because of my first take. Is there an option to submit an application and attach addendum explaining that I will be retaking in January and for them to hold off on reviewing my application? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

zacharytsmith26,

I am in a similar position, an educator thinking about part-time school. DM me if you would like to discuss.

Great, Thank you! I am trying to avoid speaking with admission-appointed students, as I'm sure I might not get a completely objective opinion.

Greetings 7Sager's,

In light of this global pandemic we are going through, does anyone have any websites they can share that would give us insight into the environment of a particular law school. School visits, for obvious reasons, are cancelled and I was hoping there was some discussion boards/blogs out there to help us get a sense of what it's like to attend a particular law school.

I've had some success with Facebook messaging current students, however I was hoping some of you might have additional resources. Thanks!

Contacting schools about admission advice

Greetings 7 Sagers,

I was hoping to get some insight on the ethics of contacting schools for application advice. Is it acceptable to touch base with a school and inquire about advice they can give you as a JD applicant? I'm sure there are several people in this community who are either 1) waiting for a decisions, or 2) on the waiting list, and would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks!
