one thing that I was thinking about was that even if you set up a conditional with "oppose higher taxes [OHT]" as sufficient, the necessary condition is that you're better than supporters, not that you're a good leader. So OHT just guarantees that you're better than someone else, but you could both be HORRIBLE leaders. it could be that a 10 year old OHT (for video game purchasing reasons) vs 12 year old who supports them (to spite an older sibling). good leadership was never necessarily in the question.

it's because the conclusion says more likely, which is just correlative, not causative. if it was causative, it might say something like 'owning a cat increases university graduation rates' or 'living with a cat promotes success in university.'
