I went into the ACs looking for "would a boat that is able to carry a 9-ton stone also be able to carry a 40-ton stone"? but A is much better.
Holy shit, shots fired! That Kaplan comment was savage lol
3 Strengthening questions in a row? Strange
This question was hard for me because nearly every time a stimulus brings up someone else's opinion they go on to say they are wrong, but here our commentator actually agrees with OPA. This definitely does not happen often.
This question has a strong sufficient assumption vibe.
I intuitively really liked C the first time I read through this question, and ended up selecting it, but Darla's argument just seemed so poor that I got hung up for longer than I should have.
My mistake here was that I was evaluating Darla's argument, and that is not was what I was tasked to do.
Anyone else have similar problems with this question?
I originally thought this was a MSS question and was completely stuck. When I got to BR I was still stuck and decided to approach it as a Strengthen question and A jumped out. Weird
Based on JY's explanation of A, could we say that hearsay will never be the correct answer in a flaw question? Can anyone think of a flaw question that hearsay was the correct answer?
same happened to me. The site worked fine about a half hour ago, so Im sure the problem will be rectified soon!
Knew exactly what I was looking for, but translated D and E incorrectly and (of course) picked D. Literally had the correct answer properly translated next to the ACs and still got it wrong lol
Considering this one question is nearly as long as an RC passage I immediately skipped it and came back to it after #26. Such a possible time sink
The assumption I made for E was that people are just ignoring the law, and that it is hard for a law to be effective if everyone just ignores it.
After reviewing I see why my assumption was incorrect, but under timed conditions I didn't give this question enough consideration.
This is one of the easiest LSAT questions Ive encountered, IF you read the stem and recognize that we are to support the environmentalists proposal. This question would have been even harder if it were placed towards the end of the section because test takers would be under more of a time crunch and less likely to correctly read and process the stem. Im sure the LSAT writers had a good laugh when they came up with this one knowing it would trip up so many test takers.
