Okay so I got this question right! I was just unsure about something... please correct me if I'm missing something!
Etching -> Pin Tipped -> Used for engraving
tool. -> Bladed -> Some Used For Engraving
-> Some Not Used For Engraving
Therefore: More are used for engraving than are not.
My rephrase actually matched the correct AC, which is: there are as many pin-tipped etching tool as there are bladed.
I tripped myself up because what if the some bladed tools that are not used for engraving is greater than the some used for engraving by bladed and pin tipped combined?
ie:
Etching -> Pin Tipped -> 2 are Used for engraving
tool. -> Bladed -> 2 are Used For Engraving
-> 6 are Not Used For Engraving
if someone could help me with this, that would be awesome! Just want to ensure I have the most comprehensive understanding

Wow, this one is gross. Yes, I think that question you raised (what if the bladed tools that are NOT used for engraving outnumber both the bladed and pin-tipped used for engraving) was the possibility we have to eliminate for the conclusion to be true. There have to be either more pin-tipped etching tools or the same number so the bladed etching tools NOT used for engraving cannot outnumber the first two categories.
