help. I steered away from option E because it mentioned that Sembene “comment critically.” What is the defense for this in the passage? How do I know when an answer choice is reaching or the wording is sufficient based on the information in the passage

Main Point questions zero in on what the author is ultimately trying to communicate to the reader. I think after reading the first paragraph, you can get an idea of what the main point is because the second, third, and fourth paragraphs elaborate on what is highlighted in the first: that Se's films are special because they are original in that features are drawn from West African culture and comment on society. As for "comment critically," S's films are social and political commentary and he "denounces social and political injustice" so he is being critical of both things.
