I think after reading the first paragraph, you can get an idea of what the main point is because the second, third, and fourth paragraphs elaborate on what is highlighted in the first: that Se's films are special because they are original in that features are drawn from West African culture and comment on society. As for "comment critically," S's films are social and political commentary and he "denounces social and political injustice" so he is being critical of both things.
