Q: Why do I need to buy PTs? Why don't you have them?
A: As of April 21st, 2015, all PDFs containing LSAC licensed content have been removed to comply with LSAC's new policy. To be clear, all PDFs containing any LSAT questions - LSAT PrepTests and Problem Sets - have been removed. Any PDFs without LSAT questions are still available.

The removal of PDFs from 7Sage was not our decision, it was the LSAC's decision to ban PDFs. 7Sage is not the only LSAT course to be hit with this. Other LSAT courses also had to remove their PDFs.

To compensate, we have all of the questions listed as silent videos, which are short one-minute videos that show only the question and answer choices. It is much better to study with paper PTs, so pick those up if you can.

Q: What PrepTests do I need?
A: Depends on what course you have!
If you have Starter, you will need PTS 36-44.
If you have Premium, you will need PTs 36-58.
If you have Ultimate, you will need PTs 36-72.
If you have Ultimate+, you will need PTs 36-77. Future PTs will also be added to the course.
(Ultimate+ also has access to the question bank, which has some questions from PTs 1-16 and all from 17-35)

Q: I can't find the PTs included in my course! Can you swap explanations for me?
A: Sorry, we do not swap PT explanations. Please make sure you can find the PTs before you purchase the course, or upgrade to a higher package that includes more explanations.

All courses use some of the questions from PTs 1-35, so it would be a good idea to pick up those as well.

If you've purchased individual PT explanations that are not included in those packages, you will have to get those as well.

@emli1000 Hmmm yep, same problem I was running into when I was searching for 41-50: IF it's available, it's considerably higher than the Cambridge option. Not surprised, especially given the PDF ban.

I picked this one up out of curiosity.. the games are really weird and kind of fun!

Although there is a noticeable difference in the "feel" of the questions, I don't think it's fair to write early prep tests off as irrelevant to current LSATs. Games can make comebacks, the general structure of arguments has persisted, save a few minor trends and details, and RC has been basically the same only a little harder.

If I can only afford one of those logic games repetition workbooks for the time being, would any of you recommend a certain set? Such as, is it earlier to have the most recent or the oldest? Or does it not really matter? (I have PTs 52-71)

@j.aubrey I would definitely save the new PTs for taking timed tests. Once you have taken those tests, you can reuse them for LG drilling using the foolproof method. When it was available on here, the bundle covered 1-35 and consisted of games that pretty told the story of the logic games of the past and what you could expect from the future tests. I'd get as many games from that span as I could. You should be fine with that.

Check out the banner at the top. They don't list a specific date but once these disappear it's likely only a matter of time before everylsat.com goes the same way so get your materials now folks. IMO PDFs are invaluable for clean copy BR and fool-proofing so the extra cost is well worth it over getting all the 10 Actuals.

For Ultimate+ you'll want 36+ for timed PTs and everything before that is for problems sets and drilling.

This is my first, only, and biggest complaint about 7sage to date. The cheapest price I can find now for 41-50 available on Amazon is $140 used (and NOT through Prime). (it was $80 a few months ago when I first purchased the course. sigh.) Any other set of 10 tests is about $30, and for newer tests. I'm pretty disappointed that the test explanations included in the 7Sage Starter course are primarily in the hard-to-find-really-expensive older ones (39-44). Why not just give us explanations for the Starter group questions 29-38? Is there something super special about tests 39-50 that I can't learn or experience by doing newer or older tests? I realize availability may not have been as big of an issue when you chose which tests to include in the Starter package. Might be worth noting now in the description of your Starter course, as it may have influenced my decision on which course to purchase. Once I get through 38, I think I'm going to practice with newer ones anyway, even without the video explanations included in my Starter course purchase. I am glad that at least the games are all explained. So far I love the curriculum, the app, the analytics, etc. Just frustrated with the test 39-50 nonsense.

I think this is more an issue with LSAC @jalcantara81 but that being said, it is highly problematic for 7Sagers nonetheless. Ever since LSAC pulled the plug on PDFs, it has become increasingly challenging and enormously expensive to accumulate the PTs. I’m not sure there is going to be anything 7Sage can do about this, but I do think some reflection on the issue would be prudent. The 40s and scattered out of prints like 1-6, 8, 17, etc essentially no longer exist.

It's so disgusting too, because there is no real reason other than greed that we can't just scan and share them. The LSAC is dead set on making it d*** near impossible for lower income people to play on even footing. Hell, even people who aren't "lower income" would have a hard time paying for all this.

Obviously 7sage cannot endorse any illegal activity, but unless LSAC republishes 41-50, people are going to find other ways of obtaining them. It's really idiotic because most people would rather have an affordable option rather than resorting to morally questionable methods. Seeing as 41-50 are musts for the course, anyone interested in observing the activity of cyber criminals could probably find illicit sources with a few google searches. Of course, no 7sage user would ever resort to this. I just think it's interesting.
